this image is house then rainbows

I see these lights coming from beds often in weirdcore content. Is there a sort of symbolic meaning? I’m assuming it might just be something about dreams.

Ok So i am currently making a Weirdcore horror short film called Dreams of a Patient. The story follows a young man who is experiencing nightmares that take the form of the Weirdcore Asthetic. I plan to include many Weirdcore images in the film, ranging from ones I made myself to some popular/famous images.

I wanted to match the No sense/Logic of Weirdcore so the film itself will make little sense.

If you have questions or have any Weirdcore images you want featured, please let me know below.

I'm trying to make my first dreamcore/weirdcore song. Any tips? This is what I have so far. (Btw I use bandlab.)

I noticed for myself when I listen to some of Aphex Twin's ambient work, such as Rhubarb, it really reminds me of lonelier, weirdcore works. Or even liminal spaces sometimes.

When I came across the classic house picture used in eye exams to me it fit really well with the Rhubarb track I just mentioned.

Do yall know anywhere I could get nice quality graphic tees with Weirdcore / dreamcore prints on them? I’ve found very few online and they’re not that good.

Any help is appreciated :)

How do i turn this into weirdcore?

I really need some help with this one, and I've been looking for some good weirdcore music. My sibling says that there's a good one that she loves, but I ask for the name and she gatekept it. I do know that both words start with a C and the first word is a noun and the second is an adjective. I really need help finding some good weirdcore music and any help is appreciated a lot!

For some reason all of my posts have been "awaiting moderator approval" for weeks at this point. And there getting a few veiws at max. With is happening?!

Anyone remember Quirky Owl? She’d make weirdcore and dreamcore compilation videos on YouTube. Sadly she stopped uploading only about a year after starting her channel. I used to get really excited when she’d upload a new video. I hope she’s doing ok. I really miss her uploading new videos. I hope wherever she is and whatever she is doing is making her happy.

This eye is basically one of the standard weirdcore/dreamcore elements since its early days, it has been used everywhere and it's an easy way to make an image make the viewer uneasy, but latelt I've been wondering. Where did it come from?

I'm looking for videos that are between like 2-5 minutes long btw

They remind me of the old internet but i can't actually find a source to the weird borders. All I know is that they look like this:

So, how do you find these borders?

I want to but I don’t know how to.

Can someone make this into weirdcore?

I really like the first two but the rest don’t feel like Weirdcore and feel more like it’s trying to trauma core or horror core.

please critique all of the photos! (including the ones I like!) I want to become better at making Weirdcore images because I love them. I love the liminality of them and the surrealist aspect but i just can’t get it right sometimes.

i would also like editing tips! (or good editing software, websites, apps, ect)

I'm looking for any good weirdcore games, as I don't wanna just download random stuff of itch.io so I thought I'd look for recommendations here :D

I can’t remember the name or anything, but I remember it looking like this! I remember that specific gif too! Among others ofc. In the video(s?)I remember hearing

Kaleidoskull by Lemon Demon—I can’t remember the gif that went with it

Soft Fuzzy Man by Lemon Demon—the gif was static looking fuzzy/spiky characters dancing

In Aisles by Nero’s Day At Disneyland—the gif was of a weird fairy girl

Note: I'm posting this in this sub and r/dreamcoreaesthetic since I feel like what I want is a mix of both/in between the two.

Title is pretty self-explanatory. My birthday is coming up in a few months, and I want to make it dreamcore/weirdcore themed. I think I know what I want to do for my cake already (red-and-white marbled "meat" cake), but I need ideas for the decorations. How do I decorate wherever this party is hosted to match the aesthetic? Is that even possible? I've seen regular little kids' parties as a common setting used in these aesthetics, but it doesn't really fit without the edits that are impossible to apply in real life. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks!

What's your take on the relationship between weirdcore and frutiger aero aesthetics? It is so interesting to me as a person who grew up in the 90s and 2000s to see the glossy slick graphics of the frutiger aero look incorporated into weirdcore imagery. Seems like a nostalgia for the time of the dialup handshake sound AOL era of the internet where it felt strange, vast, new, and hopeful, like you could build anything and wowee lookit those graphics ! xD The candy-colored Apple computers and chunky beige IBM computer housings the color of cigarette-stained cubical walls, these things are now literally in cultural history museums.
