What specifically about the physical appearance of locs makes them look dirty to you? You keep saying they look dirty, but you haven't explained what characteristic of the hairstyle supposedly resembles poor hygiene.

You originally said people of all races think dreadlocks look dirty, which is a much broader claim than simply saying you personally dislike how they look.

You're obviousluy entitled to your opinion, but describing a hairstyle as dirty looking still associates it with poor hygiene, even when the people wearing it regularly wash and maintain their hair. That's the stereotype I'm criticizing.

What’s embarrassing is confusing your personal dislike of a hairstyle with an objective statement about hygiene.

You’re free to think dreadlocks are unattractive but saying they all look dirty is ridiculous when plenty of people regularly wash, groom, and maintain their locs.

Disliking how something looks doesn’t make it unhygienic.

Genuinely, why is Suì-Fēng’s Zanpakuto like this?
 in  r/BleachManga •  2d ago

That's not exactly how the relationship between Shikai and Bankai works. Kubo actually addressed this on Klub Outside.

Shikai is the Soul Reaper's power reflected onto their sword, whereas Bankai is the ego of the Zanpakuto manifested.

Since the Zanpakuto spirit is itself a reflection of the Soul Reaper's soul, its abilities can certainly represent aspects of their personality. However, that doesn't mean Shikai represents how someone wants to be perceived while Bankai represents who they truly are deep down.

Boruto is good and y'all are just snobby, and lazy.
 in  r/Naruto •  2d ago

You spend more time attacking the people who dislike Boruto than demonstrating why its writing is supposedly superior.

If you constantly have to defend a series by telling people they're wrong for disliking it, that doesn't exactly strengthen your argument that it's good.
