Wellp, I got a positive OPK test this morning - while im on my work trip. I’ve been away since Sunday. I’ll be back tmrw afternoon so maybe we could still make it happen this month?

A fond memory with my partner is arriving at his house just after dark from the bus stop after work travel because the OPK was positive. He had made me dinner.

9 DPO and I’ve felt super horny today and yesterday (not typical for me lol) so I’m hoping this is somehow an early pregnancy sign 😅😂

Cycle 13, second with 5mg of letrozole. CD 15. I am 1dpo. Well we managed to have two total times before O day, however, I am already not feeling hopeful this month. Last month we managed a lot more and it resulted in nothing. We only have this month and next before we would get referred to an RE. Next month my OB wants to do 7.5mg of letrozole if this one doesn’t work. I’m trying so hard not to stress but I can’t help it at this point. It feels like everyone around me is except me. I have started the future baby’s blanket last night. I searched at least four stores before I settled on a yarn I fell in love with! (I wanted to make sure it was the one). I did end up switching which stitches I’m using for the blanket, but overall I think I’ll be happier with the way it’ll turn out! Hopefully having this blanket to work on will get me through the tww. Please let this be my month.

CD4 of cycle 4 trying after a loss. Not feeling very optimistic and wondering if I should just give up and be happy with the family I have. I got my period early this cycle right in time for our trip to the beach, which was a bummer. It was super heavy too :(. I'm going to continue to try for a couple of months, then move to "not trying not preventing" rather than pursuing ART (although I could change my mind by then). I have a preconception appointment with an MFM due to the loss on the 23rd, and I'm kind of looking forward to that

I am on a similar timeline, also 39 and TTC#3 since October 2025, with 3 losses in 2026 (10 weeks MMC in Jan, and 2 CPs in April and September). Also planning to continue trying for a few more cycles but will most likely move on to NTNP in the new year before officially phasing out the project soon-ish. It's just getting too depressing here. Solidarity to you!

Yes, solidarity! I'm so sorry for your losses. I have had 2, but not back to back. One at 13 weeks in 2022 and this most recent one discovered at 20 weeks. Having the New Year be NTNP time seems like a good plan, I might do that timeline as well! Hard to justify spending $$ on interventions when that could go to my living children. Hope things turn around for us soon 🤞

Thank you. It's just so hard to be on the wrong side of statistics. I'm so sorry about your two losses. And yes, I hope so for the both of us!!

CD15 with no ovulation in sight. My period finally returned at 22 months postpartum, so this is cycle 1 of TTC baby number two. I'm so impatient, I've wanted to be pregnant again for so long, and everyday I feel like a new couple that had their first the same time as me is announcing their second. And I'm just waiting to ovulate.

So I don't know how this happened but I got multiple false lines (some colorless, others pink, ALL within 5 minutes) on two separate brands, confirmed by my husband who is not as crazy as I am re: line eyes from 8dpo onward this last cycle. At first I was only doing FRERs so I chocked it up to a bad batch but then they were on my easy@home cheapies too!?
Yes, I know they were false because my BBT plummeted yesterday on 12dpo and my period came right on schedule so I don't think it could've been a chemical. They also never progressed. I didn't think indents were supposed to have color or appear quickly. Sigh.
Is my bathroom cursed? Is this my Halloween this year? Because boooooo. 😭

Sounds like an early chemical pregnancy. You could have been pregnant until like 10-12dpo. Several false positives with two different brands doesn't sound plausible

I know but I'm wondering if maybe storage was the issue or something because there were colorless lines mixed in among the colored ones.

Probably just had hCG below the threshold for that particular brand.

It could be a chemical or you may still be pregnant. When I was pregnant with my living son I got a very faint positive at 12dpo. The next day my temp dropped below coverline and my “period” started and I bled as I typically do for 5 days (3days heavy, 2 days light).
Make sure you keep up testing even if you are bleeding as bleeding with a positive test can sometimes be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy.

My tests yesterday were negative and I don't know that any of mine were true positives

What cycle tracking app do yall trust most? I’ve used Natural Cycles off and on for years, but I feel like I trust Fertility Friend interpretation of the data more- this cycle they’ve confirmed for different ovulation days.

My LP was 13-14 days before my first and it's now 12-13 days and FF seems accurate to me 🤷🏼♀️

None 😂 my luteal phase is shorter than 14 days so no app can predict it “right”
1
u/Throwaway927338 21h ago
My luteal phase seems on the shorter end as well-8-11 days. Does that throw off their algorithm?

u/No-One3536 35 | TTC#2 since August’25 | unexplained | IUI 21h ago
I haven’t used that many apps, and mostly use them to just check when my period will start but the ones I have used just automatically assumed 14 day luteal phase, there are probably fancier apps out there where you can adjust luteal phase manually

I use Read Your Body and it's all manual, no predictions/interpretations by the app.

What can I ask my OBGYN for if I schedule a visit after 6 months of trying and no luck? I'm 39. Can't shake the idea she will just send me home to keep trying.
