Rant/Vent Would love advice
2 years TTC — secondary infertility 💔
I had my son in 2020 with no issues. In 2024, we started trying for baby #2. I got pregnant the first month but miscarried at 8 weeks.
Since then, all our testing has come back normal. Tubes open, sperm good, regular cycles, and I ovulate monthly. My first IUI resulted in a chemical pregnancy, my second failed, and I’ve had 3 failed cycles with Clomid/timed intercourse and progesterone. Changed doctors did 2 cycles with him just progesterone.
I’m now 34 with an AMH of 2.83. My doctor wants me to try another IUI, but I’m self-pay and spending $1,500–$2,000 per cycle. I can use that money towards IVF
Would you keep trying IUIs or move on to IVF? I’m so overwhelmed and don’t know what to do. 😩💔

Following along. I had 2 with no issues (youngest born in 2022). I’ve had a chemical (2025) and this year a miscarriage at 7.5 weeks. All of my labs have come back normal with no obvious concerns. Husband has improved his health… feeling so lost.

Have you been checked for any bacterial overgrowths? Endometriosis? Any chance of infection (endometritis?)
It took 2 years to conceive our second too, after falling pregnant easily with #1 and then having a hyfosy / tube clearing, discovering endo, which then allowed me to get pregnant but ended in miscarriage. I’m pregnant again now but always wonder if the antibiotics I was on the month we conceived were helping keep the inflammation low.

How do you feel about your overall health? I wasn’t able to get pregnant after trying everything until I started working out and returned to my pre pregnancy weight

This is interesting. I’m not OP but I’m in a very similar boat. Admittedly, I’m not in the same shape I was when I conceived my first. Working out and eating right are hard with a toddler lol.
Of course I always try to make good choices but I could certainly be better. Is it possible a few extra lbs is keeping me from getting pregnant?

Have them check for a polyp!
