9 DPO after CP last cycle. Trying my hardest not to test until the day my period is due, but it’s sooo hard (especially knowing I have a new pack of tests in the cupboard). Send strength.

Finally have my appointment tomorrow to ask for a referral to the fertility clinic. Worried it’ll be a long wait time and we won’t be able to do anything before the year ends which is our original hard stop date. Also worried they’ll say we should skip IUI and go straight to IVF since I’ve done 9 medicated cycles so far 😞 I shouldn’t stress about it until I talk to them but ugh already trying to prepare for bad news and this to be the end of the road

They're unlikely to recommend IUI unless there's a male factor unfortunately! Fingers crossed for you.

There isn’t 😫 there’s basically no real way we could afford IVF either so seems like the end of the road is coming one way or another very quickly!

So apparently in addition to moderate diminished ovarian reserve I also have uterine polyps. They can prevent implantation so they need to be taken out. I wonder if the very faint, never progressing shadows I’ve been seeing on pregnancy tests sometimes were embryos trying to implant this whole time. I am nervous about the surgery as I’ve never been put under before.

Maybe my experience helps you - I had my first surgery under general anaesthesia last year. I wasn't scared at all of my planned c-section, neither of the epidural for my second birth, but I was almost shaking when they prepared me for this surgery. For some reason I was just really scared to fall asleep on command like they would put me down or something. But it was a great experience overall. I just got more and more sleepy, and then I slept and dozed a bit until I woke up for good. And honestly it was actually pretty nice and chill.

Ice cream and sushi don’t fix everything, but they help

CD1…I despise ttc…

I guess it’s only 4 cycles we’ve actually tried so far (timing-wise) but I absolutely hate this process. I’m definitely still not over everything involved in the two years it took to get child #1.

We are on our 11th cycle trying for baby number 2. 3rd IUI. Previous were with clomid that really destroyed me physically and emotionally. I was so angry yelling at my husband and son. This is the first Letrozole cycle 7.5mg. The mood swings are gone and the side effects are less but still not great. I feel sick so much of the month. I’m 6 days post IUI so now the anxiety and symptom checking is starting. I’m just so tired of trying. I feel like I’m missing out on time as a family of 3 while also feeling like we will never be a family of 4. I’m 37 and I feel like I don’t have the time to take a cycle off. We were shooting for a 2 year age gap and I’m kind of thankful we didn’t get that (age 2 is hard!) but now it’s getting further and further away.

I had a cyst on my baseline scan. So had to do bloodwork, which I likely won’t get back today. Based on that will determine if we can move forward this cycle or if they’ll cancel my IUI :(

I’m so frustrated

Whose idea was it to let me have 2 big old helpings of ice cream and some halloween candy? This is how you get migraines people.

- crampy and angry on cd2

First cycle using Tempdrop.

Luteal phase has been interesting. No 3/4dpo big dip in temp I normally get. I'm only 7dpo so too early to know anything yet but it's an interesting difference for me.

Temp down again. I'm out this cycle. Onto #5.

CD2 blah. Debating how to tackle the next few cycles; big family wedding and beach trip in July I would love to attend but also don’t want to be farting around since I’ll be 36 in a few months. Just weaned last week so hoping my cycles get more regular and luteal phase lengthens! Period on 9 dpo sucks.

CD2🫠 I guess I should be happy I won't be first trimester sick while in Japan (going in a few days) but it also makes me sad. We talked about this trip a lot in our plans of TTC; "what if we have to cancel because I'll be too far along to travel", then "being in my second trimester would be perfect", then "oof first trimester sickness and fatigue would suck on vacation", to now "well I guess now I can eat all the sushi". Very weird to look back at all the times we were planning this trip around a potential pregnancy to now be leaving in a few days still not pregnant. I think I might take this cycle off from testing lh and temping and just see what happens, I'll be ovulating in the middle of the trip and then due to take a test or get my period as soon as we come back. Just feeling a lot of emotions; happy, sad, excited, defeated. And if it's another unsuccessful cycle I'll finally go start getting fertility testing done which comes with mixed feelings as well. Just a little hormonal CD2 vent🥲

Have fun in JP!

I totally relate to the whole planning chess, went through that in my first try and then ended up taking over a year to conceive for unknown reasons and learned to be absolutely reckless with my scheduling.

I have some non-refundable December traveling scheduled, hope that sways the trying odds in my favor over the next few months! Or if not, then I'll probably have a nicer trip

9 DPO. I am waiting to test. Yesterday was the due date of my baby from my MMC, so it has been a rough time emotionally. I'm also almost at a year since I got my IUD out. If I get my period, I'll have to decide if I want to keep tracking with Inito (only thing that works for me because my peak is low and short) or just relax for a cycle or 2

I'm in a super similar boat, 9DPO on the cycle after I had a hysteroscopy, and I passed my due date from my miscarriage a couple weeks ago. Sending lots of love your way.

Thank you,  and I'm sorry for your loss. I feel weirdly better now that the day has passed, like the pressure is off

Sustained temp shift and pdg positive test shows I ovulated thanks to letrozole! Fingers crossed this works. If not, at least I start my first IUI next cycle.

CD9. Cycle 13. Still having weird spotting after 5mg of letrozole. Has anyone had this? It didn’t happen with 2.5mg. Looks like we are going to be adopting a cat. It was found at my partners work and no one else wants it. Not how I thought we would add our next family member but wouldnt it be crazy to conceive this month?!
