4DPO and looking forward to a beach trip this weekend. It will be a nice distraction from this TWW. Will wait until Tuesday to test at 9DPO! I am feeling quite good about this cycle 🤞

Planning to test tomorrow at 10 DPO since my husband will be home with me. My LP is usually only 10 days so that’s like the last day before period. Temp is still high and no period signs yet, but who knows. We’re taking a 3 month break after this, so I’m hoping this is it.

I’m almost positive I didn’t ovulate this month but it is cycle day 33 and no period, which is real late for me. Is it possible I ovulated after I stopped testing on CD23? Ugh might need to go see my dr again but not sure what they can test for?

Yeah it’s possible. I had failed ovulation this cycle around CD20 and my body geared back up and tried again CD30. It’s gonna be a long cycle, but it happens sometimes.

Ahh it happened to me a few months ago too but we weren’t even trying this month. I guess I’ll try testing with Inito again because it gave me so many high fertility days with no peak then back down to low fertility so I just quit testing

One of my most obvious signs is when I get a second round of fertile CM.
Best of luck. Long cycles always make me a big grumpy because they are so unpredictable.

That’s true! I took clomid last cycle and although I successfully ovulated, it was unsuccessful but didn’t take it this cycle and so I feel like it screwed things up!

Had my intake appointment with the fertility clinic doctor for TTC#2 and got the second best news we could ask for (first best news being that we get pregnant unassisted but let’s be realistic here).
She’s okay with jumping right into a medicated cycle for my baseline monitoring cycle and is okay with delaying the investigative analyses beyond the baseline monitoring ultrasounds and bloodwork (e.g. HSG and SA) until we complete a couple medicated cycles and are starting to look towards IUI or IVF.
My husband had told me that he’s not really interested in trying for a second baby if we have to look to IUI or IVF, but given that there have been updates to the funding in our region, I think he could be convinced otherwise.
Anyways, the tentative timeline looks great (I hope). CD1 should be in about a week’s time. I’m hope there are no delays in my period, cycle monitoring scheduling, or ovulation this cycle because my husband has a trip planned at the end of the month that could coincide with my fertile window if things get pushed too far.

This was my first medicated cycle. I was given letrozole on CD 4-8 had a trigger shot (Ovidrel) on CD 13, and have been using oral progesteron since CD 18. Today is CD 27, this morning I tested negative and I feel like my period is on its way.
While I am quite bummed that it seemed not to work, I also need to share that this was a very comfortable (as in mostly cramping free) cycle. Which was really validating for me. In my recent cycles I had significant ovulation cramping and I had been starting to have menstrual cramps as early as CD 22 even though my cycles were 25-27 days. It was especially annoying to me because I was second guessing myself: were those cycles really so crampy or was it just because I hyperfocus on my body due to TTC? Well, now I know! I do not know if it is letrozole, ovidrel or progesteron, or all... But this cycle I had very mild ovulation cramping that went away in a few hours. And afterwards I had basically no cramping up until last night (cd 26)!! And of course I was just as much over focused on my body if not even more, as this was my first time trying any of these medications. I should say that oral progesteron made me very sleepy, especially the first couple of days. I would be almost like I was sedated, I would just lie down and take a nap... which I can never do normally. BUT I liked that :) Ever since I had my only child 4 years ago, I was unable to be sleepy like that & I hardly ever sleep deeply.
So... I am thinking of trying the same protokol again, maybe with some tweaks. For personal reasons we decided that we will not be trying ivf. And this medication helped me have a more comfortable cycle. So I guess we could give it a few more tries.

I recently learned that progesterone is a natural sleep aid! I don’t take progesterone, but I’ve really noticed that I’m sleeping better during my own current TWW.
Letrozole holds a special place in my heart, as my firstborn was conceived during my one and only letrozole cycle. I wish you luck as you continue your journey! 🤞

That's interesting, that makes sense! I complain about being sluggish and tired when pregnant or in luteal phase, but also wake up a fair bit at night, which I attribute to still bed sharing g with an almost 4 year old. Also recently caved and bought a watch that gives me opinions about my sleep, so will look for this silver lining.

Yes, usually I don't get much side effects from medication. But sleepiness caused by progesterone was really strong. But after a few days my body adapted to it, now I am just sleeping a bit better at night, which is very welcome. I will probably stop taking them tomorrow. They will be missed :) Thank you for the kind wishes, same to you! 🙏💕

Anyone know anything re: fragrances like candles, room sprays, etc and fertility?
I'm doubtful that it could have any big effect but I'm trying to not go crazy and micromanage here at ye 'ol 1DPO 😂
