People who say ‘time for #2!!!’ to me are going to regret it one day when I finally decide to snap instead of laugh it off 🤪

Feeling emotionally drained. These last few months have been rough. I’m starting to think that I may not be ready for another after all.

welp failed my 4th IVF cycle, i gotta update my flair. 0 blasts. throwing a big pity party for myself.

in all cycles they said my egg quality was poor, so i'm going to go hard on supplements and diet. I'm thinking a low carb, low dairy diet (mediterranean diet). I've had acne my whole life and in the past whenever i've done this my skin clears up. Maybe my skin is telling what's going on in my body. Actually now that I'm typing this out, i realize i did a mediterranean diet for my wedding which was aug 2022 and i got pregnant immediately in sept...maybe related? but i was also 4 years younger

Sorry that happened to you! Re acnes, I think they do correlate with progesterone. I’m having more acnes during periods these days and I found out about the correlation recently

I decided to to quit taking vitex tomorrow. I am a little nervous about stopping mid cycle, but I keep reading horror stories about how it can delay ovulation. I’m on cycle day 11, last time I got my first positive opk on cycle day 19 when it’s usually around 14. It’s only my second period back , so I’m trying to have some patience & not dive deep into the horrors of ttc. also trying to do the deed at least every other day just in case!

started tracking lh today, which was negative as expected. I think I’m going to look for a good ( cheap) thermometer next cycle if this one doesn’t work out. overall feeling a lot more calm and trying to just let things play out before over analyzing.

I’ve heard soooooo many horror stories from vitex, I think stopping is 100% the right call. Hopefully that helps you!

CD1 of TTC 13. First letrozole cycle failed. My ob has scheduled me for an appt tomorrow to increase dosage. Im going to see if I can take anything to help with the headaches, if not I’ll power through this time too. I really thought this month was it. Timed everything perfectly, had all the symptoms, maybe October will be better. I did read that 90% conceive with Letrozole within 3 cycles. So surely this increases my chances? Trying to remain hopeful. Finally picked the color for the blanket I’m going to start for future baby!

First embryo transfer ever is tomorrow!! (after main failed medicated and IUI cycles this time around)

Really going for the last hurrah vibes and trying my best to stay positive for the next week until betas. Having a lox bagel for lunch today. Husband is dying to go to an Italian deli tomorrow for lunch. Maybe I'll have one mixed drink this evening.

Pregnant until proven otherwise, right?

CD8 on letrozole (4th day).. and I’m just not feeling very hopeful about this cycle. I had a bad day today.. I’ve been feeling quite “stressed” and emotional these past few days.. maybe just burnt out from being a SAHM. Especially sometimes when my child doesn’t listen and I have to repeat myself over and over, it gets really draining. 😑

I’m worried that this kind of everyday stress could affect ovulation or the rest of my letrozole cycle. 🥲🥲🥲

Not sure how old your kiddo is but the not listening truly makes motherhood soooo unenjoyable for me so to save my sanity I’ve had to start implementing a one time ask and then after that I go and help/force him to do what I’m asking. If it’s put shoes on to leave I ask once and if he doesn’t do it I go grab his hand and walk him over to the shoes. If I ask him to go back to bed, I ask once and then I walk him back to his bed and get him back in. It’s helped me and him a lot even though it’s soooo much more effort 🫠 totally relate to the draining it’s beyond exhausting sometimes and repeating myself just hits my nerves in all the wrong ways lol

You didn't ask for my opinion and I'm in exactly the same boat with my 2 year old and it drives me CRAZY. But I'm going to say that your method will guarantee that he will not listen because he knows it isn't a serious request, after all you will follow it up immediately with doing the thing for him/ leading him to it, so why should he do what you say? That being said my method isn't perfect either. I'm trying to do it with consequences, as in if he didn't go potty or get out of bed or whatever I asked 1-2 times (because sometimes they just didn't hear you), I just leave him there (and tell him I'm going) and go to do whatever. He then will call after me and do the thing. Not perfect I guess, but I feel like it's slowly getting better?

I started when he was 2 and he’s 5.5 now and it’s worked really well for us!! He knows he doesn’t have an option to not listen so might as well do what he’s asked the first time 😅

6 or 7 dpo today and my apple watch shows a temp spike. I hope this is a good sign ❤️

Saw a bit of blood this morning at 11 dpo and tested 100% negative. I really thought I had symptoms (and still do)! That teaches me. I expect my period tomorrow. I wonder if my ovulation got influenced somehow by the chemical I had the month before, since I did have ovulation symptoms but not as strong as usual. Not going to think too much into it though, I'm actually excited to try again.

12 days past my first IUI now and I’m just scared to test. I might tomorrow.. might wait for beta on Friday… we’ll see. I’ve had a lot of encouraging symptoms, but I keep telling myself that I’ve never had an IUI before and I’ve never been on progesterone suppositories, so I don’t actually know how I’m “supposed” to feel at this stage, pregnant or not.

Oh progesterone can really give so many weird symptoms but I hope it works out for you!

Just had my last and fourth IUI before moving to IVF, eh how I hope this is it.
