Android Spotify has gradually become unusable. I mean literally unusable
I'm not sure what's going on. I know my phone hasn't had the *fastest* processing lately overall, but every other app I own at least opens and loads stuff fairly quickly as long as I don't have too much running at once. For Spotify, over the past month or so it has taken longer and longer each week for the app to initially load, lagged when trying to search for and select playlists/artists etc., and stopped playing on its own accord when not on the app at times. In the last few days, it has reached the point where it shows a blank screen most of the time when I try to open the app. I have closed all other apps, checked that phone is running fine overall in general settings, even cleared some more storage in case being too close to max was the problem, and it's still completely awful.
I don't want a million AI tools and features, I just need what Spotify has had for the years I've been a premium user, which is music that plays!! Looks like it will be be a legitimate necessity to use another streaming app if they don't fix their programming soon.
