Reddit DMs Why are men?

Post image

Nothing about my profile or anything involving it would ever make it seem like I would be open to a message like this

To all the men saying “at least he asked” I was never asked if I was okay receiving an unsolicited sexual message from a stranger. Asking for consent implies that the person has already expressed some sort of sexual interest in you. Don’t message strangers sex shit. It isn’t some unalienable right to ask women if they want to fuck you. Doing that with no other preamble makes you a creep.

How socially stunted is someone to send this to someone they don't know as a first message?

It’s a noble thing to say, but unfortunately the cat’s already out of the bag.

I’ve been single since 2018 because this is the Only way men have approached me on dating sites, sites including Eharmony! The only people approaching me in the wild are generally older men who won’t stop staring at my fully covered tits. It’s freaking Rough being a woman in the modern world. I’m 48 now though so am ok with going the rest of my life alone. Men are just options no longer a necessity for my happiness. But if I was in my twenties now, this shit would be killing me! Feel bad for all the younger women for sure.

He's just horny, it's the internet, as long as he asks before sending anything and isn't making threats or anything like that I think it's a pretty tame random internet interaction
