QUESTION When does Six Flags Great Adventure normally open on a new year?

Me and my mom are planning to visit New Jersey to visit family on late February or early March, but I think the park will still be closed by then. I really want to go to Six Flags during my visit, so if I can convince my mom to delay the visit a few weeks or months, when would the park be open?

Usually closer to memorial day in the Midwest. Not sure why they'd open sooner

For what it is worth they opened March 28th for the 2026 season, with a passholder preview the evening before. It normally is late March, but we won't know for sure what they decide on for 2027 for a few more months.

Easter is March 28 next year, so may open that weekend or the weekend before that to try to capture some Spring Break crowds.
