I've had my Reddit account for about two years, but I rarely post. Most of the time, I just scroll through posts and read the comments.

Now that I'm trying to participate more, I realized I barely have any karma, and some subreddits won't let me post because of it. 😭

For those who were also lurkers before, how did you start building karma? Do you mostly get it from commenting or making posts? Any tips for a beginner like me? HAHAHA

Hey I am new on reddit, how can I increase my karma points?

I know this is an older account, but I have low karma and can barely ever even post comments in most places, or if I try to post it gets removed for karma limits. What subreddits should I post in to get karma?

So im low on karma and seems like everyone thinks i am a bot, any insight is helpful. Thank you! 😊

I’ve been trying to gain karma through commenting and through posting but nothing seems to gain any traction’s anyone got any ideas?

I have been trying since I created this new account to gain more karma, but every subreddit I find and that I’m interested with ends up having a minimum karma so I can’t neither post or comment in things I’m interested in to gain more karma, and I have also been said that I’m a scam, like I know there most be so preventing so people don’t get scam but like is super annoying in one point

how does the karma points work
it seems very hard to get karma points like me who dont post or comment too much
cant i just verified my account to skip karma thing?

I got into a disagreement with someone on AITA and shortly afterward received a Reddit Cares notification saying a concerned Redditor had reached out about me. 😭 Obviously I can’t prove who submitted it, but the timing was pretty hilarious/sus. I’ve seen other people mention having Reddit Cares weaponized against them after disagreements too. Since the reports are anonymous, is there actually a way to report misuse of the feature? I don’t see an obvious option in the message itself. I’d rather people just downvote me like normal lmao.
Has anyone dealt with this recently and successfully reported it?

I don't comment much nor submit anything weird besides asking for song names.

I have positive karma almost everywhere and little bad karma in some subs and my email is verified and my account is old

I don't understand why it's happening to me , it's really stressfull to wake up with the "permanently suspended" , what if they have a three strike policies for a rule I'm breaking without knowing it ? >

All my notifications gone wt*. This happened on my other account as well. Desktop web chrome.

I try to report them but it just says "Unable to submit the report"

What gives?

One of my accounts got shadow banned yesterday idk why. I didn't break any rules. Anyone knows how to recover my account?? I appealed yesterday and today & no reply from their side yet

The subreddit lpscustom started having posts and auto replies advertising gambling sites. I believe the moderators are no longer active or may have been hacked. Is there any way to get an abandoned subreddit back? Or is it doomed?
I made a post in the subreddit asking about the situation and got permanently banned, so I believe someone must be active. I don’t know why they would use a child’s toy custom subreddit to take over.

Pictures attached of scam posts, my post and other members replies, and ban

My account was wrongfully flagged by Reddit and I sent an appeal in and they restored my account but now a lot of my post are being removed by reddits filters. Can someone please help?

my account was locked for "security reasons" reddit asked me to change the password which i did and my account is still locked, what do i do?

When I try to publish a post in r/xplane or r/flightsim, I find that my posts are removed with the message: "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit's filters."

Yes Sirs i could upload videos, but now, all of a sudden I can't.I was punished 4 three days because i posted something I shouldn't have , but after my punishmentAll of a sudden, I couldn't post to my groups anymore. It's like I'm permanently punished for my 3 day band and I don't think it's fair. Can you please help? Reddit?

if yes why? (only message I have is that my account got locked for security reasons) (already changed password and also seems like Reddit does let me submit a appeal for something that has message in the inbox)

I keep getting this on my posts every single time and i have no idea why its happening

Hello reddit people,

I would like to know extensive steps to get what I need or at least remove these types of notifications, don't go about turning off notification kind of help I would need to receive updates but it would be better if it's something of my interest.

My old comments are disappearing for some reason and I'm not if it's mods or auto mods because it doesn't say it was removed by them and also the subreddits I commented on I'm not suspended or banned from them.

I noticed mu acc was hacked roughly in 35 minutes. I changed the pass and set up 2FA. Apparently the hacker posted three girl photos in three different subs. I even received messages from two guys. All happened in 35 mind. I told them the account was hacked and they should be careful with romance fraud. So I was still able to send messages.
Shortly after like in 10 mins, my account became unusable, apparently banned.
I applied for appeal but two weeks passed and no action yet. It is not a rocket science since obviously there was an unknown device and an Ip from a different continent logged in when those girls photos were posted.

In the meantime I saw post in help sub where someone who was hacked similarly used his account for nsfw post continuously wasn’t banned. Something looks odd.

Any idea how I can fix this?
Ty
