Troubleshooting Pi 5 powerd by xl4015

Hello guys, i am working on a nvg project with the pi 5 and i ran into a problem. I don't know how to properly set the current of the module, if i try it with li-ion batteries the bms kicks in and it hickups and if i try it with the pc power supply the current jumps to over 5 amps and I don't know how much voltage to set it. The pi is powered by usb c cable and setted to 5.1V

Thanks in advance for help

Not sure what nvg is in this context (I kbow Night Vision Googles) but you can try to look into or just buy one of waveshare ups hats, I have few for 18650 and few for 21700 batteries and they work really well. If not, you can try to find docs online and/or try to figure out how they wired it up and dyi one..

Yea nvg is night vision googles, i was thinking to buy one but after a saw the price and seeing i can do it cheaper i bought 2 high drain 18650 with 2s bms and the xl4015, the hile chain to power the pi 5. But the problem are the values the are needed to be set on the xl4015 to run the pi 5

The Pi uses 5.1v from USB c. At least assuming that you're using a decent power supply. Generally your power supply produces the current, and the circuit uses what it needs. Assuming that the voltage is right and it produces at least as much current is needed.
