Troubleshooting What is the Pi5 8gb OTG speed limitations?

I am trying to work on a non VNC solution for pairing my iPad Mini with my Pi5 via physical connection to use the pi headless with a better native display experience via a iPad with a single cable.

Anyone know the limits speed wise?

How do you think you'll provide the 5v at 5A to the Pi5?? Cuz your iPad ain't capable.

It runs in low power mode with the 5v

No. The Pi5 has no low power mode. It requires 3A at the minimum, and your iPad ain't designed for that output.

People use the Pi0 machines for what you're suggesting.

The Pi 4 and Pi 5 usb-c operate at USB-2 speeds at max. 

Never tried pushing them to the max though.Â
