SEASON 1 SPOILER! Why didn't Scofield at least try to damage the door lock, that would have quite possibly saved Tancredi's life?

Michael has always been portrayed as a genius, how come he didn't figure out forensic experts would find out that the door wasn't forced at all

Took them literally minutes to figure out someone had left the door open, eventually ruining Sara's life

Michael would have been able to make everything look a bit more convincing in a matter of seconds, without taking precious time off of his escape, so how come he didn't?

EDIT:

For anyone saying it might not have been believable, Michael managed to carve out a massive hole in his cell with a bunch of random tools, he is obviously very resourceful.

So in this case, him going through a locked door would have been plausible.

Not to mention there had been a riot couple weeks prior, which makes the whole Fox River prison look absolutely incompetent, making it even more believable.

(Season 4) I did NOT expected this ending.

Post image

Season 4 ending really caught me off guard. I didn't expect to be Michael being dead at the end.

But this overall season is a miss-match for me like:

The Mother being alive.. You can tell by watching the writers made that up as the story progressed because if she was alive this whole time then the Father back in S2 would have the told the brothers with his dying breaths. And on the top of that they made the mother a Evil Bitch.

I know Michael is a Smartass, but the whole situation of him choosing between Sara and Lincoln in exchange of the Scylla is a MESS. How this whole situation is played out is not feel like a Plan in a bit, the things are just happening for the for shake of the plot.

Sucre and Brad have nothing relevant to do the in this season, they are just there for the shake of it. And Brad sacrificing himself for the team is just didn't click with me. I Mean other characters have more on the line as compare to Brad, but he suddenly decide to do that. Because he has nothing else to do, so the writers killed him off.

I never feel bored a bit watching S1-S3, but this 4th Season bored me in some of the parts especially in the 2nd half. The whole 2nd half is just a Cat and Mouse game of who got the Scylla.

Michael standing in front of Scylla and the General coming down for him is the Moment of the Season for me.

SEASON 4 I'm on ss4 ep5 so far and this character is cracking me up

okay I get that this character Wyatt is a well-trained assassin and he's doing his job finding out where is Scofield, which he's doing damn good.

But I can't take it seriously anymore whenever he just pops up out of nowhere behind his target with this creepy triggering music and his nonchalant face. I hope Mahone can treats him right after everything..

First time watcher gripes Spoiler

I don't mean for this to be a hater post, but I was a bit taken aback by the amount of things I am not enjoying in Prison Break considering how famous it is and that I went into it quite hyped (half way through season 2 rn).

I'm wondering if these are commonly shared dislikes for fans of the series or if it's just me being too picky.

A lot of the "emotional" death scenes do absolutely nothing for me when they should. Veronica's death I thought was huge and it felt like everyone got over it immediately. Same goes for Lincoln's baby mama. Even Lincoln JR. comes accross as frustrated at the most. Linc and Michael's father's death was weird; and in general his whole reunion with M. Do they have even 10 minutes of screen time together? It felt so rushed; dad shows up, aah no I hate you, you left me, dad sacrifices himself, omg dad I love you I'll never forget you, all in like half an episode and then everyone just moves on. I think there are other similar situations that I'm forgetting about, but these were the main ones.

Then the acting from A LOT of the actors, even main ones, I thought was really bad (?). Not going to name names, but multiple people with literally one singular emotion throughout the whole series.

The whole FBI/organisation thing is just SO over the top to me. Like literally all of them going on about tying up loose ends, when they are the one's creating them by literally killing anyone who even glances at them and being sloppy af. I can't stand Kellerman's character, because I can't tell if they are trying to make him out to be a ruthless, smart, cold blooded agent or a complete moron. He fucks everything up and has the audacity to constantly speak down to people who I would think are his peers/equals like he's the mastermind behind everything. Like in one scene he's the big boss calling the shots, and in the next he's a cowardly pawn scared for his life taking orders and who can't actually follow through on anything he's supposed to do. William Kim too omg. Oh you spoke to a waitress? Kill her, she knows too much. Everyone there needs to chill.

These are the 3 main things, and I repeat I don't want to sound like a hater, there are a lot of things that I really liked (a lot more than the things I disliked), but I was a bit surprised at how much these negative aspects stood out to me (more than I would have liked).

Kellerman (Spoilers) Spoiler

Anyone else feel like Kellerman’s death felt forced and was unnecessary? This dude was like the 3rd most goated character of the entire show (behind Michael and Mahone) and I felt like he had an awful death. It’s been a couple weeks now since I finished the show and I’m still pondering things about the way it ended. This is one of the ones that still confuses me.

REVIVAL Currently on my first watch of season 5 on episode 3 and I’m loving it

It feels a bit empty without Mahone as I love his actor, but so far this feels like earlier seasons of Prison break and feels like it’s going to be a great watch! Bit sad that it’s only 9 episodes; but without spoilers may i ask why a lot of people didn’t enjoy it? I’m loving the inclusion of C-Note as well great actor and barely used past s2 so really happy he has a bigger part here.

SEASON 3 Sona escape attempt no.1

Scofield and Whistler had a shorter window of escape due to Sammy messing with the timing. As the sun's glare was diminishing, Scofield insisted on climbing back in

One of Scofield's dumber moments since climbing back in was certain death due to the chicken foot, if not for divine intervention. As well as the time required for the both of them to climb back in one at a time compared to just sprinting to the escape route, which was far quicker

unpopular opinions

Prison Break is one of my favorite shows of all time, but I do have some unpopular opinons.

  1. Micheal Scofield is my favorite character, but I don't think he is justified when claiming to be more compassionate and thoughtful of others when alot of people have suffered because of the decisions he's made.

  2. I don't think T-Bag should'v been in the show this long. He was literally in prison for kidnapping, rape, murder, and being affiliated in a white supremacist group.

  3. Sucre is the most loyal best friend i've seen in TV history so far and didn't get his. flowers for that.

  4. I don't think Bellieck deserves any sympathy because of his character development.

  5. The original escape plan was the best one in the show as its complexity and meticulousness is rare to find on tv.

The Double Standards Are Immaculate ✨

Honestly, shame on Sara. What kind of a mother doesn't instantly transform into John Wick the second a global conspiracy threatens her toddler? The fact that she didn't hit a 360-no-scope on a top-tier black-ops agent using a rusty revolver is proof she’s just a terrible person. How dare she have a human panic response instead of executing a flawless tactical counter-offensive.

Michael and Lincoln can crash cars, accidentally blow up buildings, get caught by the police every three episodes, and trust literal serial killers like T-Bag, but Sara points a gun at a bad guy to protect her kid and she’s 'pathetic.' Clearly, the boys are tactical geniuses and she just lacks common sense.

My bad, I forgot she was supposed to check the 'How to Defeat an Omnipotent Deep-State Operative' textbook before reacting. Why didn't she just consult the 500-page manual Michael tattooed on his torso before making a move? Totally irresponsible of her not to have a Special Forces tactical degree.

Ah yes, let's unpack the absolute failure of Sara Tancredi’s life:

  • Bad Daughter: Truly atrocious. How dare she be upset when her father, who treated her like an afterthought and barely cared she existed was murdered and staged in a fake suicide by a shadow government? She should have just smiled for his political campaign and ignored the massive conspiracy.
  • Bad Partner: Shocking behavior. She didn't flawlessly coordinate a 10/10 domestic household while her partner was busy faking his death, escaping foreign prisons, and getting hunted by international assassins. Relationships take compromise, Sara!
  • Bad Mother: The absolute worst. She only spent seven years raising Mike as a grieving widow after Michael 'died.' and provided him with the best life he could have making sure he didn't miss anything. But because she didn't automatically unlock black-ops tactical training to instantly neutralize a villain with a revolver, she's terrible. A real mother would have checked the 'Deep-State Defense' section of her textbooks during a normal human panic response.

Most unexpected things that happened to Michael ?

What was the most unexpected thing that occurred in Michael's plan when once he got incarcerated in Fox River. He had laid out a perfect very precise plan. Of course many contingencies and unexpected events happened all along the way, some of them Michael planned for it, some not.

But what are the most unexpected events that Michael went through or happened to him during s1-s4. I'm not counting s5.

What does make Michael Scofield so smart? Is it more like something he's born with or the environment makes him this way

I want to ask you, what makes Michael Scofield so smart?

Do you think it was nature or nurture that made him evolve to the person he is now?

Was there a psychiatric or medical explanation for his behavior and his way of thinking, and was it believable?

I want to know your insights and thoughts about this particular topic.
