Literally just cut the top and bottom heat-sealed seams off a plastic grocery bag and use it as a pattern. Make a tube with “tank top” shape at one end, and cut straight across on the other end.
The only interesting thing is the handle is twice the width of the finished appearance of it. When the side is folded in, it’s pushed inward until the handle is folded in half. Then you sew the front and back of each handle together folded like that (4 layers), and the bottom straight across (4 layers at the sides, 2 layers in the center). It is probably advisable to trim the seam allowances from all but one layer, double-fold that layer over the seam, then sew again.
It appears the edges of the top opening are left raw, so you’d either have to use a fabric that doesn’t fray or hot-cut it/run a flame quickly across it after cutting. Or you could bind those raw edges with bias tape or a strip of knit fabric or something.

That looks super easy. You could almost trace around a tank top or another plastic bag for the pattern. It's basically same front and back, sew sideseams[ only need one sideseam if you cut on the fold or have one centre back. Sew the bottom closed and the top of the handles whilst it is laying flat, 'good' sides together and then square off the corners. Done. plus that little toggle thing at the front whch I am sure you could figure out what you wanted there. It could be as simple as velcro squares.

Not quite. The bottom corner of a t-shirt bag (the name of this shape) are folded in and then the seam is sewed straight across, they’re not boxed. You can see this if you look at the disposable version.

Yes, you are correct. I did not see the 2nd image. The folded in way is also just like a plastic bag too, so it totally makes sense.

It looks like some weight of non-woven dyneema, my guess is something like 0.51oz/yd or 1.0oz/yd. You can find it at ripstop by the roll in various weights and colors. It behaves like a mylar sheet that is impossible to tear, but you can puncture it somewhat easily.
