New rule: No posts asking for adoptions or donations
Hello again! I recently posted asking the community how they felt about the large amount of posts asking for help for shelter dogs. Nobody who responded was in favor of keeping them, and many of you felt strongly in favor of removing them from the subreddit.
Therefore, from now on, posts asking for help for dogs are not permitted. This includes both requests for adoption and donations.
Just as a heads up, I will be removing posts from before this announcement to reduce some of the clutter for people wanting to scroll the sub. If your post is removed, don't worry! I'm just cleaning up. However, I will enforce the rule as usual on posts created after this announcement goes live.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

Khaleesi
Meet Khaleesi! 10 month old bundle of terror - please tell me she will be a sweetheart when she's older? Haha, she's a cutie though.
Struggling with her training- very stubborn, but she is super smart.
I did an Embark and Orivet DNA test on her, and her results were interesting.
Her mom is slender, lean, black coat with brown spotted legs (Doberman Lab mix)
Her dad is a huge black and white lab mix.
Her coat coloring is interesting.

Meet Zafiro!
She's 11 years old, and it's a mexican mutt of German Shepherd (mom) and an unknown mutt (dad). Adopted by accident when I was in junior high on my way home from Dia de Independencia's celebration kermés (fair) when she was just a puppy :) so that's her birthday! (Sept. 16)

I finally found out what my baby is!!
When we first got him, he was 2 pounds at 2 months old, now he's 60 pounds at 16 months! We were like "how does a dog that small get that big so fast!?" so we were curious on what he was. Now, we finally have results!!

Meet Zelma
Hi I’m new to the group and wanted to show my girl, Zelma. We were told she’s lab/beagle mix. We know the mom was full blooded beagle not too sure on the father. She’s 3 and she’s such a good dog. My daughter brought her home as a puppy and at first I was not happy. She’s grown on me and I love her so much, she’s my riding partner.

Suni (left) and Leny (right)
Suni is glued to you when you're home. She had her back leg amputated when she was rescued.
Third photo is where they wait for mom to come home from work.

Retrying. Meet Penny
Meet Penny
Happy to have found a subreddit for Mutts. This is our 10 year old girl Penny. Her nickname at the vets is "Penny with the underbite."
We did a DNA analysis on her just to find out and oh boy is she a mixture of all kinds of breeds.
She still sploots very well for being 10.

Is my golden springer underweight?
This is my four month old golden puppy Bruno. He eats everything and we feed him five times a day about 5 cups each day and everyone tells me he’s underweight so I wanna know how to fix it and what I can do. I feed him more and more and he still won’t gain weight, but we also play a lot.

Mutts from Korea
Leny (orange) says I will keep your bunnies, rats, mice, chickens safe, hire me to watch them, I will keep them safe.
Rolled the dice on sight unseen dogs and couldn't have been more lucky. Leny was basically a wild animal, mom had a feral litter, ended up in the shelter for 16 months before we adopted him. The rescue found a volunteer flying from Seoul to Seattle who checked him for free.
We did Embark first and both of them had the same result, 100% Korean Village Dog. Wisdom doesn't detect village dog as a breed so it has to spit out breeds, so we did both tests.
Allegedly village dogs were domesticated into Jindo, Akita, Shiba Inu, etc but they still exist undomesticated. They are like supermutt of indigenous dogs.
Leny is 3 years old, Suni's dna age guess was 7-8 years old. She was fostered 2 years after having her leg amputated.

Waiting for DNA
This is my new and very first fur baby Remi! We think he is a Shepard mix (some kind) / black mouth cur possibly. What does this handsome boy look like to you. Located in NC if this helps! Alittle information. We KNOW he was found with his five siblings in a trailer park. This little guy is just 3 months old and weights 20lbs. The rescue doesn’t have a lot of information on him.

Pollie being the most poodle is so funny
We were told by the rescue she was poodle and collie (a Pollie!) based on her litter mates. She doesn't look like any of her breeds though lol.
