my old mossberg has no windings for screws, so a normal picatinny rail is not possible to mount.. I found a part online and decided to model and 3D print it.
No holes where made and it fits good and tight so far!
Let’s see the first test, maybe it will crack 👀

is anyone doing this successfully? it seems all the adapters are made for the receivers that are NOT optics ready. I'd love to get a red dot on there and still be able to sight through it with the rear ghost ring and front sight.

I'd like to add some stippling to my MC2C, but I want it to be in the same style and patterns as the rest of the gun. Is there somewhere good I can send it off to, or a way to DIY it?

Upgrades I’ve done to my maverick 88.
It originally had a 28-inch ribbed barrel, no side shell carrier or optic.
I got the side shell carrier/rail and red dot optic first then an 18.5-inch barrel.
If anyone has experience with this optic please tell me how you like it or dislike it. I have had this gun configured this way for over a year and have not shot or messed with it since. I really want to try getting this sighted in with slugs this weekend. Also any good heat shield recommendations would be awesome.

Hey y'all, I've had a chrome nightstick 590 Shockwave in the back of my safe that I just happened on a while back and have considered SBS'ing. Since I'm in a free state and this recent ATF guidance came out, it seems a lot more appealing of an idea.

Does anyone have tips on where I could find a youth/bantam length walnut stock that could relatively match the factory fore-end? Ebay seems pretty picked over these days.

Also I can certainly confirm, a youth length would suit me best. I am very "stretched" in stance/form with a magpul SGA stock on my 20" 590.

After lots of reading and watching videos, I finally decided to grab an MVP when they were back in stock. She's an MVP Patrol in 5.56.

The main reason I hesitated was the talk of sloppy mag wells and clunky actions. I even reached out to Mossberg and they said improvements have been made since the model was released. So I took a chance and I'm glad I did! I love it.

I've tried PMags, Amend2, Duramag and Lancers so far. All work, but she favors the all-polymer units. They will move a little forward and back on an open bolt. But cycling is excellent. Finish is perfect. First I sighted her in with the iron sights, so I know they are on. Then I mounted a cheap compact optic. The stock looks and feels great.

I already prefer it to my Ruger Ranch. It's better balanced and the action is much smoother, almost like my old milsurps.

I'm glad I didn't let interweb "experts" scare me away! 😉

After going through many handguns I decided I like (LOVE!!!!) my MC2C and want to make it my EDC. Sadly this was right before they discontinued it. I like to put lots of rounds through my EDC along with all my other guns. I haven't had much opportunity to put a lot of rounds through the Mossberg, and now I'm thinking about finding a new EDC. My concern is parts and keeping the thing running. What do you all think? Should I retire it as my EDC and find a new one, or should I just carry it and shoot the crap out of it?

Just got done building this bad boy

Like the title says, any leads on where to get a vertical grip forend for my 510 mini bantam 20 gauge.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago new and haven’t shot it yet and today I decided to take it apart and wipe it clean and lube it. After reassembly I racked it and dry fired a few times. Then I loaded it first with snap caps and tried cycling it but the shells flew out of the tube to the ground. Also tried it with live rounds with the same results. What do you think the problem is?

So the homie at PBI made me a 6 3/4 MCS fore end and a mossberg adapter to a Remington 870 Lyman Pachmayr Vindicator Shotgun Grip found on those cool Tokyo Marui Breacher Shotguns.

I don’t know what’s going on with the Mossberg website, but I have been looking everywhere for this ghost ring sight kit and it has been out of stock for more than 9 months. Are they even re-stocking the website? Where else could I find this kit for my Mossberg 500??
