Birds nest fern identify issues

Hey guys, my fern has crispy edges and dotty leaves, I’ve been away for a week but the humidity has stayed around 70% and the water will have stayed moist but not wet. Can anyone identify the issue?

For what it’s worth, I owned a Bird’s Nest fern and it was a nightmare keeping it happy. Constant struggles

Yeah, I’m most confused as to why the new leaves are perfectly fine even though it’s care is no different
