Resources Embroidery thread

Hello hive mind. I am a yarn dyer and I am considering adding in embroidery thread to my profile. Where are we all getting undyed embroidery thread? tia

Michaels has their Loops and Threads skeins in a pack for dirt cheap. I’ve dyed them with good success. I’m in Canada, here it’s a pack of 36 (all white) for $8, less whatever discount you have.

You can always use DMC or any other brand of cotton, but it’s more $$. The cone of DMC might be more cost effective, I’m not sure.

Also a huge fan of dyeing perle cotton and crochet thread. I find crochet thread at thrift stores all the time, it’s so cheap.
