General question Wool dyeing in EU

Hello everyone, I have a question for people from europe, where did you buy yarn for dyeing? I never dyed yarn before, and local shops is soooo expensive. Im afraid to buy expensive yarn and end up with all shades of brown merino 😆 Im living in Germany. Plan to use acidic dye.

das-wollschaf has pretty good selection of undyed yarns afaik

(I mostly buy fibers from them tho)
