I Believe in Alexis Volkoff Supremacy- Best Villian of the series.
No hate to Angus Macfaden as an actor but Nicolas Quinn was the weakest villian by far from the series. Even a guest star villian from any single episode surpasses that character.
If I had to change villian for final season I would choose already pre-existing villian like The Leader (Patrick Kilpatrick) from season 2 or The Ring Director (Mark Shepherd) from season 3.

When the show originally aired, and I saw that Timothy Dalton was in the show, I immediately thought something like "how cool is this? He's doing a James Bond type thing again"
Little did I know he'd turn out to be Volkoff. LOL

Talk about a major mind frak.
At least I can understand Sarah Connor being Chuck's mom.

He was definitely my favorite as well.
Shaw annoyed the hell out of me. Directing his anger towards Sarah over his wife’s death was stupid. She expressed to him how hard her red test was and she was under the impression that her target was a rogue spy. It wasn’t personal. Then coming back? I find it hard to believe that the government couldn’t have taken the intersect out.
Roark was a good first villain.
Quinn’s storyline was weak.

Well I find Shaw creepy as hell. Tbh they always said he was a great spy but couldn't go through one task correctly. If they would have removed the Sarah-Shaw relationship it wouldve just worked fine, I mean he was a good villain for 2nd half of the season.

Where would Vivian MacArthur Volkoff stand? First she was a hero that turned into a villain and back into a hero. Viv ended as a hero because she supplied the jet and paratroopers to Chuck to get him back in time to the hospital to save Sarah.

She would stand out of this picture or same place as Nicolas Quinn. Cuz her Mood Swings were real villain 😭😂😂

You could tell Dalton was just having the best time playing this role.

Quinn had a lof potentiel but not enough time for any development, the man that was supposed to have the original intersect was a good idea. And I would definitely not put Shaw with the top tier bad guys of the show

If they'd brought Quinn earlier in the season with proper storyline it would have worked. Regarding shaw I thought he was great villian apart from the whole Shaw-Sarah romance shit (which was creepy and odd) he was great for the 2nd half of the season.

Fulcrum, as a whole, was the best villain.
I was not a fan of Volkoff. The show was the best when Fulcrum was the enemy in season 1-2.

S1-2 are my favourite it brought perfect combo of laughter and drama for me. Season 3,4 was character development arcs with good storyline and humor. Also had great villian with Shaw and Volkoff. Season 5 I don't give a shit... poorly written and executed.

Volkoff was the best. I can't stand Chevy Chase as an actor or a person, so his arc annoyed me the most.

Timothy Dalton never played a weak character. I felt Vincent Smith- the henchman for Roark should have survived in S2E21 instead of Ted Roark for season finale.

I agree. Although the Volkoff blind love for Chucks mother was a bit too much at times.
Shaw was far too forced at times. The Mask was awful.
I despised Chevy Chase’s character. Far too obnoxious. I thought Angus was pretty good

For me, they are all great villains because they do what they are supposed to do, and do it well. People knock Quinn for being a weak and irrelevant villain, but he's supposed to be since the real "villain" of the Quinn arc is Sarah.

Fair take. But it was hard for me to digest that the main character of the show underwent sudden change in storyline at the end of the story by a guy who we just saw, with few episodes remaining for finale😭😭

Shaw felt like an end game character. Quinn was done pretty well but felt rushed. Like even though I hated what he did to Sarah it was still hard to really get invested in his story line. It kind of came out of left field.

So many threats throughout whole series and this new guy comes and does that to Sarah, It was too much to digest.

I'm surprised you didn't include Clyde Decker; he was also one of the toughest antagonists Chuck and Sarah ever faced.

I always thought Clyde Decker couldve been great villain. The way he was setup to be next bad guy for S5 I was happy, only to see that potential got wasted next season. He posed as big threat to chuck and family than Vivian Volkoff ever did. For this post I've posted main antagonist of each season. I've added Clyde Decker as top tier villain in my S4 villain list 1 month back check that out

I agree. Having Timothy Dalton play the role was perfect. You can tell that he drew on his time as James Bond here.

MacFaden did a great job with what he was given. The problem is Quinn just wasn’t an interesting “Final Boss.”
IMO it should have been Shaw in the final arc and using someone else for his S5 episode. Would have given it much more meaning.
