RJ Mitte (Walt Jr) has passed 😥

Wow, I was shocked to hear this. They are saying it was suicide. So sad. He was only 34 years old. RIP, Flynn ❤️

Standard for any main stream death. People just love to rage bait and get attention in any possible way. They are trash.

51

u/That-Mind6171 7h ago

Moreover, many bots post similar comments to get a rise out of people. I’d pay it no mind.

18

u/earthdogmonster 7h ago

Yup. Friendly reminder that social media should in no way be confused with reality.

5

u/Few-Television-3646 6h ago

It’s probably 70% bots talking to bots making rage bait comments.

-3

u/ChornobylChili 7h ago

The main bot farms were literally destroyed by Ukraine the other day. This is sadly real trolls

9

u/Substantial-Sea-3672 6h ago

It is worrisome that anyone could honestly believe that all bots were housed in a single location and now the internet is free of them.

How do you even come to that conclusion? Certainly not just by reading memes making obvious hyperbole and taking it as fact right?

→ More replies (6)

3

u/IndyPFL 7h ago

Russia has never been the only source of bot farms, just the biggest source of right-wing propaganda bot farms. Every continent has bot farms in one way or another, their motives are just different.

•

u/StrategySignal8965 5h ago

...you think those are the only bot farms?? lol

•

u/drpepperfan2004 4h ago

israel india brazil and the u.s still exists and still has millions of operational bots.

•

u/Few-Television-3646 2h ago

Lmao ok Sure Jan. Many are in China and India.

5

u/Ok-Sport-6969 7h ago

Yup. It doesn't help that we live in a society where rage engagement is also rewarded via social media. It really sucks.

0

u/No_Initiative_3481 6h ago

This is not rage bait. There is literally no bait in it

90

u/knvanand 8h ago

The whole damned world is a mess. FUCK

Edit: RIP, Flynn 💔

•

u/SuckEmOff 4h ago

It’s Walter Jr! Can you not even say his name!

65

u/bean-percolator 8h ago

That’s so horrible to hear. He was an advocate for disability rights and from everything I’ve seen sounds like a great guy. Some people just have no respect

61

u/Neither-Albatross866 8h ago

The whole planet is a mess. Some people genuinely are deranged. It's why I try and do something kind everyday, even if it's just a small thing. The smallest acts or words can make a huge difference in someone's life.

RIP RJ Mitte. Incredible actor who had me in awe, especially during the knife scene in BB. 💔

11

u/BarderBetterFaster 7h ago

The pot is boiling, I'm not surprised people are losing their humanity.

2

u/Ancient-Ad-2474 6h ago

💯 it’s like a powder keg nowadays

•

u/rangerdanger559 1h ago

It’s always been like this. Trashy people have been here for a long time and they’re being illuminated. Same thing happened to Robin Williams when he died.

5

u/butholemoonblast 7h ago

Love you for that. I try to do that also. And I try and be conscious of my language and words I use online. World need more kindness now more than ever 🫶

6

u/ExcitingSector1540 7h ago

Thank you for your deliberate kindness! I try everyday as well

•

u/YogurtclosetNew9676 4h ago

God bless you for doing something kind every day. You're right -- some people are just deranged. Matt Stone in Erie PA killed 7 of his family members, a family friend, his unborn grandson, and a family friend. The world is just so horrible sometimes. We need more kindness

•

u/fromearthtomorgue 2h ago

I thought you were talking about the co-creator of South Park at first (also called Matt Stone)

Absolutely tragic

5

u/rennatyellek 8h ago

Facebook has so many horrible people

4

u/Mayonaigg 7h ago

The internet was a mistake. Its an amazing invention with massive opportunity for humanity, but unfortunately humanity is too stupid and shit to use it properly.

So now, it's just a way to degrade society even more, as every jerk off can reach an unlimited audience to spread their stupidity like viruses.

3

u/Accurate-Anything-37 7h ago

World. The whole world is a mess.

3

u/NoCheesecake6767 "Rice and beans?" 8h ago

Wtf that is so messed up

3

u/dtrrb 7h ago

Facebook is a hateful place

3

u/thejaytheory 7h ago

A lot of people are so unnecessarily and unbelievably cruel.

3

u/Suck--My--Toes 6h ago

The internet is not just "this country"

32

u/BrickMix 8h ago

Time to hop on my horse and go cuss them out. I do this with Trump supporters and everyone like this.

I got tired of taking the high road with people that don’t even know the high road exists.

RIP RJ.

7

u/Scarlet_maximoff 7h ago

The guy died and redditors have to somehow force Trump into the topic

•

u/BrickMix 4h ago

That’s not forcing Trump into the topic. Learn how words have meaning.

I stated what I do and who I do it to. I didn’t mention anything about Trump other than that he has supporters.

Open a fucking book.

3

u/jonsnow0276 7h ago

I feel bad for people that politics can influence so much on their lives

3

u/jackafeld 7h ago

There was a coworker of mine who came late because metro was late and single tracking, the first thing he did was cursed Trump for it. The city, the DOT, the Metro management are all elected officials and democrats.

2

u/tabas123 6h ago

I mean, that’s the group of sociopathic freaks that have loudly proclaimed that empathy, kindness, and taking care of one another is “woke” now.

If their comment bothered you it’s because you’re not a good person, just like the rest of his asshole cultists that get off on sadism.

•

u/Marik-X-Bakura 4h ago

>If their comment bothered you it’s because you’re not a good person

If you genuinely believe this then you need to take a good long look at yourself

•

u/tabas123 2h ago

You’re right, a cornerstone of MAGA has been about making sure more people have access to mental health care and ensuring everyone has their basic needs met.

Oh wait… it’s always been about the exact opposite. It’s been about taking healthcare AWAY from millions of people and further enriching the obscenely wealthy at everyone else’s expense. Rescinding basic healthcare needs like cheaper insulin, destroying meals on wheels, throwing millions off of Medicaid, removing clean air/water/soil regulations, etc.

Nah, you’re all either genuinely terrible people or AT BEST willfully ignorant and careless about how your actions negatively impact others.

•

u/Marik-X-Bakura 2h ago

Mate, no one said anything about Maga. That’s not what this thread is about.

Personally, I hate Trump about as much as it’s possible to have someone. But that doesn’t matter because I’m not American and have never lived in America. And more importantly, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the actual conversation.

This level of obsession you seem to have is genuinely sad. If you’re at the point where you randomly assume people on the internet are Trump supporters without any basis whatsoever, you seriously need to get help. This isn’t healthy and you don’t seem like a pleasant person to be around.

15

u/gnoble93 8h ago

What's the correlation of Trump and this poor man's death?

7

u/cormega 7h ago

Only that he's a terrible person and his supporters tend to be shitty people too

•

u/Marik-X-Bakura 4h ago

That’s not a connection

•

u/cormega 4h ago

The connection in this case is just "douchebags on the internet".

-7

u/x_Kratos_x 7h ago

Lmao and leftists aint any better?

3

u/Chrono_G 7h ago

Actually, we kind of are.

Sorry that we want you to have healthcare and want things to be affordable.

4

u/IdleHandsRapidFlight 7h ago

I hate to bring it up, but Reddit was a fucking cesspool when Charlie Kirk was murdered.

You cannot claim moral superiority. You're all bad people, coming from someone who's not American.

5

u/jackafeld 7h ago

Same here. Immigrant who came here legally and love this country, except we have all these loser punks on reddit who are suffering from white guilt. Trump is not my favorite and never will be, but I will never vote for party who open borders to entire world without checks or are easy on crime.

•

u/ChocolatePain DING DING DING 3h ago

Do you realize there were more deportations under the Biden administration compared to the Trump one?

•

u/jackafeld 50m ago

You are mistaking Biden for Obama. Look up the data.

3

u/jackafeld 6h ago

You must be sleeping like Joe, when millions poured in from Canada route and Southern border. Remind me how many illegals driving 18 wheeler killed US citizens who couldn't even read highway signs? Look up. There is a guy who got a license from NY DMV his name was "No Name Given" on license. Oh, and they all game during 4 years of Joe pooping in diapers, when Jill was using Autopen.

4

u/x_Kratos_x 6h ago

Were not around when biden was in charge?

I live on the border and we were flooded!

1

u/Majisty 7h ago

Because Charlie Kirk was causing hatred. It’s a paradox, you can try to be tolerant of everyone, but you can’t be tolerant of the intolerant. So despite the left’s usual want for good things, there was happiness that someone died who was not only contributing to hate but leading others into it. It’s not right, but it’s not unexpected.

Plus being happy over death isn’t a left only thing, they were happy about someone who they knew to be bad dying. People were just happy as happy about Osama Bin Laden paraded it from the White House to the WWE. Our Secretary of War is literally talking about live-streaming a person’s execution because they killed 4 soldiers in a literal war.

Moral? People have no sympathy for people they perceive as hateful.

-2

u/cormega 7h ago

So? Charlie Kirk sucked

→ More replies (2)

2

u/SamQuentin 7h ago edited 3h ago

From what I've seen they typically want people to think they are, but in reality they lack empathy for the people who are negatively impacted by their need to feel like a good person.

1

u/LilCabbage45 7h ago

I am a terrible person for wanting you to have healthcare

1

u/Justieflustie 7h ago

They are though, on average

1

u/cormega 7h ago

I mean... i certainly think they are

Lol another reminder of why I stopped going to reddit. Everything goes back to Trump, even a man committing suicide

2

u/x_Kratos_x 6h ago

Its pathetic, ngl i dont even know why i entertain these people it its a waste of energy

1

u/Lower-Annual3314 7h ago

This is reddit, everything is just complaining about trump or whatever political bs nonstop

-2

u/jackafeld 7h ago

Really. Go to any subreddit including art or photography and most voted posts are for someone criticizing Trump. He lives rent free on most redditors head.

1

u/jonsnow0276 7h ago

For real. Weird thing to add to his statement lol

•

u/BrickMix 4h ago

There isn’t one and I didn’t make one at all. Most of you idiots just can’t and don’t read.

•

u/gnoble93 3h ago

Whatever man. Seethe about Trump because that's obviously the important thing to focus on. Not the young man that just lost his life.

-1

u/crazyhorse198 7h ago

None. Except in that persons head.

3

u/dounce87 7h ago

There it is. There's the comment to bring Trump into the post.

4

u/x_Kratos_x 6h ago

You can say its there .. TRUMP card!

Aaaayyyy!!!!!!

But fr its so stupid

•

u/BrickMix 3h ago

What did I say about Trump? Nothing right? I said what I do, who I normally do it to, and why.

That’s not “bringing Trump into it”. Turn your brain on, bitch.

•

u/dounce87 3h ago

You have TDS. Seek help.

•

u/BrickMix 3h ago

TDS isn’t a real thing. Imagine thinking because someone doesn’t like him it’s a “syndrome”.

You’re in a cult. Seek a brain or a spine.

5

u/Necessary-Loss-6467 8h ago

Redditors will always SOMEHOW find a way to talk about him lol

0

u/fluffyypickel 8h ago

Legit 🤣 knew there was gonna be something along those lines when I read “this country is a mess”

2

u/Informal_Cut3996 7h ago

Holy shit you people are so obsessed with making everything about Trump. Go outside, this post is about mourning RJ

•

u/BrickMix 3h ago

I didn’t.

I mentioned that I’m going to talk shit to people and who I normally do that to.

Learn to read and interpret.

1

u/caffeine-182 7h ago

What the fuck does Trump have to do with anything here? Jesus fuck I hate reddit so much.

4

u/x_Kratos_x 7h ago

TDS is strong on reddit, they act like trump made there lives shit when in reality it was poor life choices

2

u/callmeDNA 7h ago

Oh sweetie. Let me break it down for you.

This comment was talking about the toxicity of social media, because people commented unkind things about Mitte’s disability.

Trump openly mocked disabled people.

Some people argue that trumps brazen discrimination emboldens other idiots like himself.

It’s a fair guess to think “these people who are mocking disabled people online could possibly be a trumper”

Fuck trump.

-5

u/x_Kratos_x 7h ago

People like you are so soft lol

•

u/callmeDNA 3h ago

Proud of it. It’s called empathy.

•

u/x_Kratos_x 2h ago

Not when its too the point of letting criminals roam free because its mean too arrest them

Thats just stupidity

0

u/republicofbelarus 7h ago

Coming from the guy who's mom hit him 🤣

1

u/tabas123 6h ago

Being empathetic, compassionate, and selfless used to be considered positive traits. Now they’re called “woke” or “soft” and derided by troglodyte edgelords. That mentality was directly fostered by this pedophile billionaire president, so that’s why he got brought up.

The Venn diagram of people making fun of RJ, his disability, or his death VS far-right sadist edgelords is a circle.

•

u/x_Kratos_x 5h ago

See being kind is good and i respect that but not to the point you surrender your nation too warmongers, criminals, fraudsters, and corruption in the hopes of not being called racist or mean.

At the same time attacking a party of innocent people in full force that only wants a secure border, safe citys, low crime, common sense and just the right too fucking live without being stabbed in a subway in broad daylight, if japan didnt make anime you all would have the same hate boner for them like you do isreal, they are xenophobic as fuck and trump should take notes.

On the epstine topic did you know who brought it too light? Who pointed it out? Who was the rat? It was trump, in the late 2000's i believe, in return they smeared him when he ran for office, everybody loved trump back then, if you take a short dive 20 years back youll see all the lies, sadly youll lose all your liberal leaning friends for doing so, tbh, stay ignorant, is a selfish blessing in my opinion.

0

u/Local-Education-1071 7h ago

trump raped kids on epstein island and people like you will still defend him.

1

u/republicofbelarus 7h ago

You wouldn't catch me dead defending that slob, I'm talking about the chud calling people soft

•

u/TheJamesDTV 5h ago

If he did that then why would he turn Jeff in to the feds?

-2

u/Aspasticum 7h ago

Then GTFO?

0

u/uyui850 7h ago

Had to get a dig in against Trump supporters on your post about a man’s suicide. Grow up.

•

u/BrickMix 3h ago

No.

I mentioned Im about to talk shit to these people similarly how I do against trump supporters.

You see how the reference is only for illustration and not directly about you people? Fuck off. Seriously.

•

u/uyui850 3h ago

Someone has committed suicide, and you’re using it to score points related to politics.

Get ahold of yourself.

-6

u/Calm-Mountain3561 8h ago

Ya what’s wrong with Trump supporters? RIP RJ

1

u/x_Kratos_x 7h ago

Too what exactly? Im perfectly aware of my surroundings and see both sides clearly

1

u/Connect_Hamster9211 7h ago

To his corruption and overall zero sympathy from him, from Fox News, from mostly all of maga. Overall, he only cares about himself, his friends, what makes money.

1

u/x_Kratos_x 7h ago

Corruption and zero sympathy? Caring about himself his friends and money? I bet you dont even know who tim walz is lmao

name 1 corrupt thing trump has done too pocket money from tax payers, dudes done more for us than the sell outs weve had in office before him and thats why they hate him so much, they all loved trumpy until he exposed the corruption

2

u/Connect_Hamster9211 7h ago

Made the rich, richer. His scams. Silent about the Epstein files. What sell outs? Apparently It doesn’t matter that the president doesn’t care about the citizens if they only care about themselves and their friends. Just admit. What politician hasn’t been corrupt or something bad. What has he done for the American people. You’re telling me that trump is good and he can’t be bad or fake.

-2

You’re acting like that hasn’t been the last 4 presidents. Clinton, Bush, Obama and Biden all be doing the same thing

Current Facebook is a hotspot for bots, deliberate misinformation/ragebait and general toxicity. Facebook moderation is so genuinely nonexistent/inefficient that they once enabled a genocide

Most social media isn’t worth the emotional investment, but Facebook particularly isn’t and anything from there should be taken with a heavier grain of salt.

RIP RJ

2

u/MilfordSparrow 8h ago

We live in dark times. People seem have no decency.

1

u/Patara 8h ago

1

u/morry3232 8h ago

1

u/Neon_Biscuit 8h ago

He got screwed over by his money guy so he didn't make very much money on the show :(

1

u/Key_Paramedic_1737 8h ago

His manager did him dirty and robbed his earnings which put him in debt with the IRS over the years. All the money he was making recently was going towards the debt... sad

1

u/GriffithCoin 7h ago

I remember seeing clips of his interviews on various social media’s and most the comments were making fun of him saying “he’s still playing Walt jr” and other nasty things getting thousands of likes.

he was clearly a nice guy who loved being a part of breaking bad yet people just wanted to tear him down. It’s nice seeing all the love he’s getting now but he deserved better when he was here

1

u/paumAlho 7h ago

Unfortunately that's the internet for you. I've been using it since early 00s. Nothing changed. Don't let it bring you down, it's a loud minority. Most people are good

1

u/Paulwekiva 7h ago

If it was IGN it’s a younger and less sensitive audience. I came here after reading thoughtless comments just to get more sincere thoughts.

1

u/Disastrous_Still_232 6h ago

I mean, a lot of people are just ass holes getting off on it from the attention.

It is what it is, people have been like this on the internet since the internet existed. I really don't think an abundance of trolls on the internet is an strong status indicator of wellness of a country.

Either way, fuck those people. RIP

1

u/johnnycards69 6h ago

1

absolutely made my blood boil

1

u/No_Intention6963 6h ago

i wouldn't make fun of someone for living, but i get why people make fun of people for killing themselves. shameful way to go. just take ownership of your life.

1

u/intravenousTHC 6h ago

Really? What did the comment say? Take a screenshot.

•

u/ksdanker22 5h ago

There will literally always be people like that, don't take them too seriously, they just hate their own lives and want to put down people who they think have it worse than them. That may technically be true in some cases, but their character isn't worth a damn, which makes them lesser than the people they put down. Hopefully they can get their shit in order, less they also lose the precious gift of life.

•

u/relapse9999 5h ago

One of the reasons I disabled fb. It's so toxic

•

u/treason6116 5h ago

it’s social media that’s the problem. it brings out the worst in people and loves to highlight the people saying the worst things. in the real world, most people aren’t like that.

•

u/Available_Border1075 4h ago

Well it’s like with Ahmed Best, people didn’t like his character in starwars so they bullied him personally and told him to kys and stuff

•

u/Open_Gazelle6348 4h ago

Just don’t pay attention. Most of the people that are aware of him because of the show will have nothing but good things to say

•

u/YogurtclosetNew9676 4h ago

Yeah, why NOT make fun a young man who was born with a disability he didn't choose or create through a bad choice? I mean, all he did was play a major role in one of the best TV Shows ever. By all accounts, he was a great co-worker and seemed like a nice guy. So, yeah, why NOT just tear down a person who created a positive representation of people with disabilities? People just suck so much.

•

u/lilkinkykitten 3h ago

Facebook is designed to make human beings as apathetic as possible. Trash app reprogramming people who could’ve been better…

•

There’s literal bot farms created just to spread hate and sow divide across the internet it’s insane

•

u/Silver-Treacle65 1h ago

tbh i saw so many memes making fun of this guy's speech impediment prior to his death, including on reddit. that kind of stuff could have easily contributed to someone's mental health struggles. it could be the exact same people who posted those memes who are now going "wow the internet is so mean"

•

u/Howcanyoubecertain 1h ago

It's so weird seeing people leave awful comments on Facebook and then you see their profile is all public with pics of their kids and shit.

2

u/one-determined-flash 7h ago

Social media is so toxic. I read a few comments on Facebook and people are making fun of the guy. This country is a mess.

Aren't they just following the standard set by Trump?

4

u/PsychoDaveDriver 7h ago

Right? Do they think bullying someone to the point of suicide is an American thing? There are multiple Asian countries who treat that like an Olympic sport.

People online are evil, idk what a country has to do with it.
