RJ Mitte (Walt Jr) has passed 😥

Wow, I was shocked to hear this. They are saying it was suicide. So sad. He was only 34 years old. RIP, Flynn ❤️

Jesus fuck! Now him? Why are these young actors dying?

20

u/DuffmanStillRocks 8h ago

Well, in this case it was self-inflicted. This also applies to James Ransone who was only 46.

Personally I find feeling like the best days are behind you can be absolutely devastating and I hope it’s not the feelings that pushed these talented individuals

I also thought of James Ransone just after seeing the news : (

I find feeling like the best days are behind you

This is especially hard when your best days were already really, really shitty.

u/sleepyhead260 4h ago

I am experiencing the same thing. Looked it up the other day and its called a dopamine crash- having lots of success early on and you were always having stuff to do, then all of a sudden your life slows down, maybe you are not finding success anymore professionally. It's such a depressive state that I am hoping to overcome and pray that nobody goes through this.

Please stop speaking about something which you know nothing about. You clearly have never spoken to or sympathized with someone that has mental health issues.

And nowadays most people have nothing to be sad about yet are still sad.

This is an absolutely insane thing to say. We are living in extremely dark times a tremendous amount of things to be sad about.

You're just a sociopath.

I've had friends and family members who have dealt with depression. I'm always confused and asking "Why?".

We're talking about literal celebrities and teenagers having depression. They should not be worrying about whatever the fuck Trump is going to do their lives unless they're immigrants I guess. Even if Republicans are trying to hurt minorities, if you're living in a blue state, you are more likely to be protected against his crimes. And even so, most people aren't depressed about trump. Youths dealt with worrying about being drafted to the Vietnam war in the 60s and now they're worrying about something smaller like whatever on the internet they're taking persoanlly.

Also haha nice joke about me being a sociopath because I can't empathize with stupid and dramatic people. 😂

They don't have to live with ignorant asses like me to be depressed. Many people have good normal lives and are still depressed as if they went through some huge ass trauma.

Also idk why words have to ruin your life. If you can't handle my mean spirited bluntness then maybe ignore my comments?

That's not a joke.

You sound like a lovely person

Suicide was the suspected cause. People die, there isn’t some big reason why. but the world is quite stressful and go go go now, which definitely adds to both mental and physical problems in peoples lives.

u/V2DMJ 8h ago

What a soulless, flat response.

3

u/ExodusPHX 7h ago

Idk I think he’s just saying sometimes there isn’t some big rational reason that we can point to to explain tragedy all the time. Sometimes the mere weight of existence is all it takes.

I’m sure the guys in pain from the palsy and tired of it.

I called the 988 number here in America years ago and the person I spoke with was incredibly callous and needlessly cruel. I'm thankful I was strong enough to not let that push me over the edge but in my own experience the American hotline is a fucking joke

5

u/soryu0 7h ago

Yes. the systems in place to help suicidal people are quite often horrible. the people on the hotline are often callous. go in to a hospital and they’ll stick you in a miserable ward and bleed your insurance and pockets dry. it works for some people but a lot who are chronically suicidal that doesn’t really help

3

u/Bigr789 Franch, not even once. 6h ago

I have worked in the medical field and was responsible for putting people in those rooms from time to time, it always made me feel sick. Most of the people I worked along side would cope by saying they were all faking their feelings, all the while those coworkers and colleagues were depressed and addicts just like I was.

I'm glad I got away from all that.

2

u/Imaginary_Day_4112 6h ago

Why do people think these help? Copy pasting this shit into every comment and then thinking "yep I helped" People need someone, not a fucking call center

•

u/Born-Demand-6919 5h ago

My thoughts exactly

1

u/mojokid123 7h ago

Totally! Didn’t want to make it sound like suicide isn’t a big thing, just never appreciate comments that seem to be speculating that there is some mysterious force killing young people.

•

u/PretentiousMouthfeel 5h ago

But every one of them had a life — family, friends, people who loved them

This is an insane assumption and isn't always the case. Plenty of people have nobody, or they have people that "love" them but don't actually love them. And even if people love them, many people never find anyone to love them on their own terms.

456K karma and 23K contributions with a year old account. Either you’re a bot or chronically online

1

u/Remote_Nature_8166 6h ago

Definitely the latter.

1

u/Choice_Potato_6279 7h ago

May you say who else died?

1

u/Remote_Nature_8166 7h ago

Michelle Tratchenberg, Daveigh Chase, Hayden Panettiere, the young deaf girl from Godzilla

1

u/Cultured_Punk_Drunk 6h ago

Sounds like because he's been looking after his adoptive mother and adoptive sister since he was 13, and unfortunately his business manager stole all his money?

1

u/Remote_Nature_8166 6h ago

I didn’t know he was adopted

•

u/LittleAleta 1h ago

Unfortunately most of them are doing something stupid.
