As a fun example of how good top BGs players are and what comps they play, I noted down data from the first 14 games of this stream on the 4th of October 2026.

The main takeaway is that there are a bunch of interesting hybrid comps to play (I categorise them as "other") and Brann is a key minion in many instances. Playing Brann 9/14 games is quite impressive and he might be the most sought after card in the game rn. Also, quillboars seem to have replaced Naga as the "menagerie tribe" and some strategies that want gems include Felboar, Gatekeeper Amalgam, Glambot, Twilight Tidehunter and Devilish Distractor

I included snapshots from six different games showing how Jeef's board evolves from the mid-game to the late-game.

Miscellaneous observations:
* Jeef ended with scam minions- i.e Leeroy, venom, Heroic Underdog- in 5/14 games.

* The Tarecgosa comp with the specific doubling trinket seems unbeatable sometimes

* You can get cheeky resummons of 2 of your biggest All type minions in Y'Shaarj lobbies if you give them reborn to complete the requirement.

I find this to be one of the most diverse metas ever! Of course there are some clearly strong things, but you can eek out unexpected ways if you are creative (and fast) enough.

Really fun game! Didn't get particularly lucky and definitely wasn't a high roll, but Honeycomb made the shop buffs pretty interesting.

I feel like this build could absolutely pop off with a better setup.

This was something I got from the greater trinket a while back and forgot to post. I didn't have the setup for it so I couldn't try it myself. Does this Tarecgosa get gigabuffs compared to its ordinary golden counterpart, or is it basically the same?

Hearthstone has been rough to run on a good day for a while now, like just loading the main screen is incredibly laggy, but battlegrounds has been unplayable. I've reinstalled the entire app, but I haven't been able to play a full game of battlegrounds in more than a month at least, like I've barely seen any abberations because I can't play. I just tried today and it played worse than when battlegrounds was originally released and mobile players had 20 second turns, I lost 10 seconds to the tavern loading, 40-30, upgraded my tavern, played one tavern spell, and then my turn just abruptly ended. I opened the book to look at the cards in the game and it took more than 35 seconds. I know that cause that was the number stuck on the bottom that eventually disappeared cause combat started. The book didn't close right away, though, that still took some more time because it had to load my opponents board, so more lag! I can play regular Hearthstone fine, no lag I notice, but that also means playing regular Hearthstone. It's just battlegrounds that's this bad for me. Even the menu is rough to open. I added my most recent attempt at looking around the game with a bit at the end just to show that the game's not entirely like that, it runs fine most of the time unless it's battlegrounds

Has anyone had that bug where you seem to have an additional battle in a turn that takes up time from your existing turn?

So while other players go through 1 battle in that turn, you effectively have to deal with 2 battles and limited turn time to buy minions and upgrade your tavern.

If you triple ur "discard candidates" cards, the other card is not discarded. As such, you can spam hero power for 3 or 4 turns and get at least 3 triples, play the cards that were not discarded for tempo, and then you can spam triples for 4 or 5.

I got a Drakkari from Maldraxxus Dagger with amalgamation, but it didn't triple with either of my surprises... I don't play that much so I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, but I feel like this is a bug.

I thought I might "Auto" discover... turns out I just missed it...

onyxia broodmother hero power with undead avenege is just broken and infinite looped. i dont think there is a way to actually win vs that.
