Impeachment means nothing without conviction and removal.

that's exactly the kind of president that goes after someone else
maga loves that he is above the law. They only care about power
They have no interest in governing for a better quality of life for all Americans
Anything they can do to cause harm is not below them.

17

u/CableExotic3891 6h ago

They hate Democrats plain and simple. They'd collapse our government just to keep the Democrats from getting ahead.

The raid on her home has to do with supposed irregularities in the documents her father filed when she was a child. Trump's wife took 10 modeling assignments while on a tourist visa, which is a much clearer violation than anything Omar might have done as a child.

1

u/JohnnySpartacus 2h ago

She was 18, not a child, and swore under penalty of perjury that she was legitimately married to a fellow who very much seems to be her blood brother so that he could immigrate too.

1

u/Forikorder 2h ago

who very much seems to be her blood brother so that he could immigrate too.

based on what evidence?

49

u/l008com 6h ago

Trump should be rotting in prison but half this country is too fucking stupid to remember he tried to over throw the government so they voted for him again cause "idk whatever joe rogan said to"

10

u/hfskdhdbfkxjchsjxhdb 5h ago

It’s mind blowing how many brain dead mouth breathers we have living in the US that support this stupidity. Fake patriotism is rampant.

19

u/Mysterious-Tie7039 6h ago

1/3 is in a cult and 1/3 sat out. That’s how we ended up with the most corrupt President in US history.

On the plus side, 45 is no longer the most corrupt we had, because 47 is waaay worse.

Trump has been impeached twice

19

u/Entertainer-Exotic 6h ago

He needs more so he can get the Nobel Impeachment Prize.

-4

u/Thausgt01 6h ago

But the process couldn't get past the Senate, because more than 50% of the Senators refused to follow the law in favor of supporting their party. So technically Felon Donald John Trump has only faced the possibility of impeachment twice.

So far.

11

u/DiverseVoltron 6h ago

No, both impeachments were successful. The Senate was too full of party-over-country traitors who failed to convict and remove.

9

u/moosetube 6h ago

They refused to even consider evidence.

9

u/DiverseVoltron 6h ago

Why would they? They're not concerned about the country.

6

u/moosetube 6h ago

No argument here.

No... he was actually impeached, twice. You can look up the proceeding dates of both impeachments lol

4

u/OrdinaryNo2959 6h ago

No, he was impeached twice. You’re referring to the removal of office. You should brush up on your civics.

MAGA was incensed because the DOJ was investigating his crimes two years before the election. But they think this is fine, 22 days before the election, even though it's against DOJ regulations.

And, what they are investigating is immigration paperwork her father filled out over two decades ago. Extremely urgent! Couldn't wait!

14

u/Bigcouchpotato1 6h ago

Just because the administration say Omar is doing illegal stuff doesn't make it true.

8

u/daizzy999 6h ago

Yea, they've gotten awfully comfortable just going after people in the HOPES they find something. Like, can we go through all the Republican's houses too just to look around amd see if we can find something?

1

u/Green_Machine_6719 48m ago

I thought they did that already, Trump @Mar a Lago raid….How quick they forget…Roger Stone…Giuliani….Flynn…..Banon……The lefts time has come and you can eat your shit sandwich now🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Get ready for some more, shows not over

0

u/Green_Machine_6719 6h ago

A Biden appointment judge doesn’t sign a search warrant without cause..Must be valid evidence to authorize ☝️

1

u/Going2beBANNEDanyway 2h ago

Wouldn’t be the first time they lied to a judge to get a warrant.

0

u/Green_Machine_6719 1h ago

Are you referring to the many FISA warrants and the raid of Mar a Lago???

She came to this country on an "Einstein" Visa, then got a job where that kind of Visa was inappropriate meaning she broke the law. Then she found a rich American and married him to become a citizen, then had an "anchor baby" and bring her family in as "chain" migration.

*This post is not about Ilhan Omar.

They've been attempting to smear her for a decade (since Trump was first in office) if anything actually existed, it would already be exposed. It's just a month before elections and they don't want anyone looking at the gas prices, or their other grifts.

That should be obvious no matter who you vote for or are prejudiced against.

He's been impeached multiple times, what is this post? lol

4

u/No-Advertising-6957 4h ago

Only on Reddit

4

u/bikeahh 3h ago

If your neighbor is cooking meth, should they go after you, too?

That question is as dumb as yours.

14

u/JPA322 6h ago

Jesus Christ, a Biden appointed judge signed an actual warrant for the search. That means there's enough evidence to get a warrant. You all will be ok.

5

u/starfire360 5h ago

Now let’s see how many times judges have later thrown out charges Trump prosecutors got warrants for because the Trumpies blatantly lied to the judge… Jeez, just today a judge was yelling at a Trump official for failing to follow very simple orders in another case.

1

u/Key_Anybody_4366 6h ago

So now Biden is legit? W the actual F.

1

u/JPA322 5h ago

Point is the judge wasn't MAGA (hirr during they are stupid) or whatever Reddit loves to say.

0

u/Cranks_No_Start 6h ago

 You all will be ok.

To be fair I don’t  think they will be.

0

u/GimmeDatClamGirl 6h ago

Sir please don’t come in here with your facts. Pitchforks only.

11

u/AcanthisittaNo6653 6h ago

Yes, trump should be impeached.

3

u/Somhairle77 6h ago

Every high level Federal "official" needs to be impeached and removed from office for racketeering.

3

u/Leroyf1969 6h ago

1

u/No_Breakfast_523 5h ago

I didn't know due process involved the mass anti-Islam mass hysteria that has taken hold over this country because of a corrupt president. The pedo in office has files being withheld from the Epstein files because he controls the DOJ and FBI. How about we have due process for them? Especially since we know Epstein was involved in massive crimes and they were good friends.

1

u/gwg576 5h ago

Why didn’t Biden release the Epstein files if it could hurt Trump?

3

There is no need to connect the two. Crooked politicians should be removed from office no matter the party affiliation.

4

Ilhan did NOT commit a crime. Trump does daily.

5

u/Naerven 5h ago

My understanding is they are looking into allegations that the paperwork her parents turned in 20+ years ago may have had errors. She and Trump are not the same.

That said, yes wrong doing should be investigated when it happens.

3

u/Jorgedetroit31 5h ago

Like fake Einstein visa’s?

2

u/rjlawrencejr 4h ago

I’m guessing it’s inconsistent paperwork or it could be something as simple as mm/dd/yr vs dd/mm/yr.

5

u/Apprehensive-Log3638 6h ago

Impeachment is a political issue, not criminal. When the president losses the confidence of 2/3rds of the legislature, they should be removed.

Criminal case agains Omar is a whole separate issue. All I am going to say is they better have damning evidence of significant wrong doing. Political power in this country goes back and forth. The ones conducting this harassment will be the one getting harassed if this turns out to be nothing.

4

u/-Foxer 6h ago

You mean that might fake up a bunch of charges about accounting fraud that isn't actually a crime unless you believe another crime might have possibly existed but it's never actually proven?

You're a little late to the party

2

u/giantawakening 5h ago

12 jurors friend. But I guess they were made up as well

6

u/-Foxer 5h ago

Twelve jurors who were instructed by a judge whose daughter made millions from the trial

The legal circles have already talked about this to death. It's being referred to as the Tinkerbell law, as long as you believe it exists then I guess it does

The jurors were told he was guilty as long as they believed another crime may have occurred. They didn't even have to agree on Which crime. Nor did that crime have to be proven or did they attempt to

So they found him guilty based on a crime that they didn't even charge him with.

Literally everybody recognizes that this was a political hoax specifically invented to go after trump. That's why they wouldn't let them change the venue or get a different judge.

You're going to try and pass this off as legitimate then I'm afraid my days of taking you seriously are coming to a middle

3

u/giantawakening 4h ago

Days of taking me seriously?
Anyhow, keep telling yourself that…

→ More replies (2)

2

u/Choochoo1147 5h ago

Really bad write-up. I’m an actual lawyer and I can assure you the legal field doesn’t recognize the prosecution to be a “political hoax.”

He definitely committed the crimes he was charged with.

0

u/-Foxer 5h ago

It was such a bad right up that you couldn't refute a single point of it! Imagine that 😂

It's 100% true which is why you couldn't actually refute it.

The point is what he did wasn't a crime. Not in the minds of 99% of people out there. And even in the eyes of the law it's not a crime unless another crime happened to take place that it supported, and they never even tried to prove that. They didn't even pick one

There's a reason why his popularity actually went up after the conviction and not down. Everyone realized it was complete political theater and wasn't a real criminal trial. Biden's own guy left the democrats to work on this case with the prosecutor.

Nobody with any kind of objectivity looks at that as being a legitimate conviction. They faked up a charge for a crime it doesn't really exist and certainly doesn't exist anywhere except that District of New York and found him guilty for political purposes.

That's where we get the term lawfare from

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Bet_612 2h ago

Right.. His popularity increased among his base for the same reasons as martyrs.

1

u/-Foxer 1h ago

Yeah. Basically. He was attacked unfairly for political reasons and they tried to use the law to kill him politically and wipe them out

That's what made him a martyr. If you actually did a real crime and get convicted of it you're not a martyr

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Bet_612 38m ago

I think you missed my point. Martyrdom matters to cults - and it is quite remarkable the mental gymnastics people in that position will do to avoid the cognitive dissonance.

2

u/ActuaryLost9689 1h ago

Your Country is lost . In 5 years you will be denying ever supporting Trump.

1

u/-Foxer 1h ago

Not my country kiddo.

But I love that you couldn't refute the point that I made so you tried to turn it into a failed personal attack 😁😁😁

And I'm no Trump supporter, I think the guy is a complete wing nut and a megalomaniac and probably sociopathic.

But that doesn't change the fact that the charges brought against him were completely bogus and the democrats tried to use welfare and punishment by process in order to wipe out a political opponent.

1

u/GamemasterJeff 2h ago

Nothing needs to be refuted. Trump legally was convicted by a court of law, end of story.

If you really do need a refutation, then look up the charges and Trump's lawyer's response. They are entered into the record as given, meaning Trump did not even try to refute then.

Trump and his legal team disagree with your point. I don't need to go any further than that.

10000%… same thing happened in the Jean Carroll case. I read the jury instructions and thought omg he could have slapped her ass and been found guilty. That case was a donkey show, complete embarrassment.

1

u/Going2beBANNEDanyway 2h ago

Falsifying business records is 100% a crime. His lawyers then got to hand pick the jury and he was still convicted because that’s how guilty he was.

You’re in a cult.

1

u/-Foxer 1h ago

It wasn't falsifying business records anywhere else. Anywhere else in the entire country or most other countries that was the standard accounting practice

Further even in that state it's not a Felony..It's a misdemeanor crime. The judges and prosecution shoehorned it into being a felony by saying "If it was done to support another felony then it becomes a felony"

But they never proved another felony. In fact they didn't even agree on what that other felony might be. They presented multiple options of what it could possibly be with zero proof

And they instructed the jury that if they think that one of those things might have been a crime then it's okay to find him guilty for this

In no way shape or form does anyone look at that and think it's legitimate. Everybody instantly knows that that was political bullshit. That's why trump's numbers went up and not down

Biden sent his own lawyer over to work on the case, there's never been one like it, government officials in the area were running around afterwards telling businessman that it was just for trump and they would never be charged with something similar and in every other part of the country it's not even a misdemeanor

It's not even close dude, if you're going to try and present that as a real crime then you have zero credibility in the slightest

0

u/Going2beBANNEDanyway 1h ago

Absolutely unhinged. You can’t gaslight away that it is a crime and he was convicted of it by a jury his lawyers picked.

You’re in a cult. One day it’s going to click in your head and you’re going to feel silly.

2

u/-Foxer 1h ago

Sorry buddy but those are facts and I get that the facts upset you but that doesn't change the facts

His lawyers didn't pick that jury they asked for a change of venue and were denied

And the jury does what the judge instructs them.

You can continue to lie your ass off as much as you like but everybody knows those were politically motivated charges and not real at all. In any meaningful way. This was just democrats trying to use the system to wipe out a political opponent

So if they happen to do the same thing back to democrats well, the democrats don't have a lot of room to complain

2

u/Creative-Violinist44 6h ago

There is either a law broken or not. “Significant wrong doing” This is not a volume dial. lol

2

u/Apprehensive-Log3638 6h ago

That is not true. That is why there are felonies and misdemeanors. You do not raid a sitting member of congresses home because they jaywalked.

1

u/HustlaOfCultcha 2h ago

While it doesn't appear (yet) that it's about her husband's company...the claim that it was a 'simple accounting error' of actually forgetting to add liabilities to the balance sheet is about as absurd as it gets. It would be like claiming your car is valued original MSRP and then realizing you made the simple mistake of not including the fact that it has no engine in it.

1

u/Utterlybored 6h ago

Timing makes the motive obvious.

2

u/IfItHurtsThenMaybe 6h ago

Agreed wholeheartedly

2

u/beebeebee2142 5h ago

This unmoderated sub is lame hasbara hive.

Okay, you had a question about Ilhan Omars marriage which many claimed was illegally done with her brother to get him into the country.

Since the raid was reported to be about that I dont think you're going to hear any updates about ongoing legal cases until the slow wheels of the justice system turn. See you in 20 years

4

u/Curious-Emu3894 5h ago

They don’t even have real charges to go after. It’s a literal witch hunt just because people don’t agree with Trump and have spoken out against him. This is the most corrupt administration in American history with a Russian plant as “President”.

2

u/StatementCareful522 5h ago

There are no illegal activities Congresswoman Omar is doing especially not that would warrant this kind of invasion, this is purely political bullying

4

u/klstopp 5h ago

It's pure harassment, he hate Muslims, born in America or not.

Interesting that she gets investigated but Melania and Elan aren’t. And Elan has admitted to coming illegally (he had the wrong visa).

2

u/ivhokie12 6h ago

Not that the immigration status for those two is nothing but being on a student/visitor visa rather than a work visa in the early stages of residence is an entirely different level of bad than having a fake marriage to your brother to willfully commit immigration fraud.

1

u/DammatBeevis666 6h ago

We impeached him twice. The murder turtle and the GOP grifters refused to convict.

1

u/rh1066 6h ago

Trump has immunity.

1

u/Affectionate-Pea8706 6h ago

It doesn’t work that way right now.

1

u/Mysterious-Tie7039 6h ago

Yes, every politician who does anything illegal should be investigated, tried, and prosecuted.

2

u/just_having_giggles 6h ago

This crime would have been a paperwork issue committed by her dead father, decades ago.

It was extremely urgent to raid her home less than a month before an election.

Excellent points.

2

u/gwg576 5h ago

When a previous admin greenlit a raid on a presidents home o er classified docs, that he had the right to possess, while not saying a thing about their president keeping classified materials in his garage next to his corvette. Come on! At least have the decency to call out your own side when they commit crimes.

2

u/cole_z33 5h ago

they can't even process just like cancel culture the left of america started it and are now on the receiving end. it's all fucked but the left clearly set the precedent here

1

u/This_Key4634 2h ago

This is the problem with these raids; the other side will need to do its own raid to settle the score and in the mean time the courts and judicial process will become politicized and less worthy of trust

1

u/Mysterious-Tie7039 5h ago

Yeah, I figured it was Trump weaponizing the DOJ against political opponents.

You know, another one of those things he’s the only one that does but accuses everyone else of doing (at least on the federal level).

1

u/Glittering_Ad366 6h ago

The New World Order is amazed America is so gutless. They thought they could only use Trump for 4 years before they had to toss him away. If he is around past Jan 21st, the MAGA farmers are really gonna cry!

Not according to magat logic and the scotus, dear leader is above the law.

1

u/NoKnow9 5h ago

Is the administration wanting to deport her because her father filled out the immigration paperwork incorrectly when she was 12? That is the impression I have gotten from a couple of things I’ve read. Does a child or grandchild of immigrants need to keep all immigration paperwork in order to prove citizenship?

1

u/Choochoo1147 5h ago

If Ilhan Omar is actually committing crimes, then the raid is justified. I’m almost certain she’s not though.

1

u/chitownphishead 2h ago

Apparently a judge that saw the evidence thought there was enough to issue a warrant.

1

u/xdrezx 18m ago

A judge some Trump appointee has on the payroll

1

u/Reasonable-Plate2982 5h ago

Well, thats what corrupt leaders do. Trump will cry election interference if he is in legal jeopardy 2 years before his election but initiate proceedings against an opponent a month before hers.

It doesnt matter though, if she is being investigated, then due process requires evidence and proof. Something the Republican government has repeatedly been unable to produce.

Their skill is suppressing proof of their own malfeasance. Everyone should be running on releasing THE EPSTEIN FILES

1

u/Z28Daytona 5h ago

But you can go after someone and he is.

Remember that they got Al Capone on tax evasion not the actual crimes he committed. Thats what they’ll do to Omar.

1

u/Prestigious_Code6605 5h ago

I’m pretty sure they’d start a purge.

1

u/Substantial_Row_7108 5h ago

Absolutely. They both need to fall.

1

u/Prometheus_303 4h ago

Well I would consider free will actions taken as an adult would be more "criminal" than a goof on a file that was filled out for her while she was a child...

1

Stealing from charity, not paying cities back for police usage during visas. Epstein.

Like it or not, Trump has been investigated, impeached, probed and spied on and not convicted of any wrong doing. You may not like him or what he does, or understand it, but that doesn’t make it illegal. Despite the constant social media and bot attacks- but the previous raid on Omar’s is pointing towards real legal issues.

I like this make believe land where the democrats haven’t been investigating Trump constantly since 2015 when he declared he’d run but as soon as his side is investigating democrats y’all cry about it. If you cheered about every single story manufactured about trump under the assumption that they have him this time then you don’t get to cry weaponized law fare now without looking like a hypocrite.

Clearly anyone in politics isn’t above the law but they’ve spent over 10 years trying to put trump in jail and they’ve never made a concrete case against him to be able to do that. It’s pathetic.

Sure they did. Jack Smith had a case. Jack Smith got shut down because of that.

If Trump is so innocent, why did the DOJ purposely withhold files in the Epstein files in relation to Trump?

1

u/Planet-Funeralopolis 5h ago

Idk. Why did the DOJ under Biden not prosecute anyone other than Maxwell, they had all the evidence yet no charges were brought against anyone else involved.

1

u/No_Breakfast_523 5h ago

Are you trying to say they shouldn't have gone after Maxwell? She was just as bad, if not worse than Epstein. Just because she has the ability to lie to Trumps admin to get a better deal, doesn't mean she is innocent. Are you really that stupid?

1

u/Planet-Funeralopolis 5h ago

No that’s not what I said… I said no one else had charges brought against them, why is that.

1

u/No_Breakfast_523 5h ago

You tell me, why that is. Why did all of the investigations stop when Trump came into office? Why did the people he placed into positions of power suddenly say that they aren't going to prosecute anyone in the files? You really are fucking stupid.

1

u/Planet-Funeralopolis 5h ago

The investigations are still ongoing, this year bill gates and the Clinton’s were questioned or maybe it was last year?

1

u/No_Breakfast_523 5h ago

Wait, wait, wait. So you think the Epstein files a legitimate enough to investigate the Clinton's (not just Bill btw) AND Gates, but somehow Trump should be except from investigation of the files? It's very clear you have a prejudice against anyone with a political ideology different than yours.

1

u/Planet-Funeralopolis 5h ago

I guarantee the investigation was already done on Trump during the 4 years the last DOJ had the files.
