Technical Issue How do I get rid of the Apple Music Widget?

I’ve tried unplugging the unit. I’ve tried playing other songs. I’ve tried holding/pressing the widget down. Nothing gets rid of it and it’s always on top of everything else including slide shows. I’ve tried every Google search possible.

god that apple music widget is the most persistent thing i've ever dealt with on these devices. mine got stuck on some random podcast i listened to once and just camped out there for weeks

one thing that worked for me was going into the alexa app and clearing the music queue entirely, then playing something from amazon music for like 30 seconds. after that i unplugged it for a full minute and when it came back the widget finally gave up and disappeared

also check if you have any apple music skills enabled that might be keeping it pinned, i had to disable and reenable the skill for it to fully let go

Thank you; I’ll try all those! Luckily, it’s not an embarrassing song or podcast. My son was just listening to Old McDonald nursery rhyme. 😆
