“We’re looking forward to continuing this journey as executive producers and especially excited to work closely with Jennifer Yale, Simone Harris and the entire cast and crew as we bring this new chapter of The X-Files to life,” Proximity Media founder Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian and Ryan Coogler said in a statement. “It was also incredibly special to have our fellow Proximity co-founder Ludwig Göransson contribute the score for the pilot, making this a true collaboration across the Proximity family.” [Source: Deadline]

I'd been wondering about whether he'd get his bestie to do this, and ugh, I'm so happy he did. I really hope he stays on for the whole show because his Mandalorian score seriously elevated it for me. And I kinda like his Book of Boba Fett theme more than the actual show. 😅

Hey everyone! I'm u/pikkopots, founding moderator of r/XFilesHulu. Some of you may know me from r/fringe, r/SiloSeries, or r/TheMentalist. I'm an active moderator and an unapologetic fangirl. I podcast, I knit and crochet, I edit fiction for a living, and I dedicate a lot of my free time to cultivating fun and engaging fan spaces.

This is our new home for all things related to the X-Files reboot, which was recently given a full series order by Hulu. I'm excited to have you join us!

What to Post
Post anything that you think the community would find interesting, helpful, or inspiring. Feel free to share your thoughts, photos, or questions about the upcoming show, but please be mindful of the fact that this is a fan community. It will not be a place to rant about how the X-FIles property doesn't need a reboot. There are plenty of other places on the internet to do that.

Many of the guest stars in the pilot have already been announced, but additional cast member announcements will be forthcoming, for guests and recurring cast. Later, casting calls will probably go out for background opportunities (otherwise known as extras), so keep an eye out for those and keep your fellow X-Philes in the loop!

Community Vibe
I'm all about being friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone feels comfortable discussing, speculating, and connecting.

How to Get Started

1. Introduce yourself in the comments below. Are you an old-school X-Files fan? Are you totally new to X-Files and here because you're a fan of Ryan Coogler? Give us your fandom lore!
2. Post something. Even a simple question can spark a great conversation.
3. If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.

Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make r/XFilesHulu amazing.
