I'm still sick. One of the benefits of being stuck at home is finally having the time to do all the laundry that's been piling up. And you know I looove doing laundry. Seriously, I've never written a post about how much I loathe that task. Why would I. I love activities that fill my whole day.

People opinion it’s not important!

To make your life easy and less hard , better not care about others opinions weather they close to you or not, more important when it’s about your own life and career , you the one you will live it not them, we all going to pass away one day so we should live the live we want happily without regrets or worries about others people opinions , free yourself.

Corrected Streak 15: in love with my new red shirt

Yesterday, I received a new piece of clothing that I fell in love with instantly, which is exceptional!

Half the time, I either just like what I ordered, or it doesn't fit. Also, sometimes the color doesn't look the same as it did on the webpage. The range of feelings I usually go through goes from being pleased to just accepting that it's okay. Ordering clothes online feels like an adventure, it's like a box of chocolates: you never know what you're gonna get.

But this time, I feel really excited! It's like I can't wait to wear it, but first it has to be washed. Of course, I'll be patient. I don't want some kind of toxic material to be in contact with my skin.

So, in order to make the wait a bit easier, and because I can hardly think of anything else to talk about, I'm going to describe this breathtaking item.

It's a long-sleeved bright red flowy button-up shirt. No ironing needed! The fabric is soft and has a slight sheen, but it's not too shiny, so I won't look like I'm going to a night club or something. The shirt is long enough and has fancy oddly shaped silver-colored buttons that aren't easy to fasten. No big deal, since I'm planning to wear it open, over a simple three-quarter-sleeved black shirt. It'll look like a kind of oversized jacket, but a classy one.

A few days ago, I was writing about the splashes of color I like to wear with black. This shirt is much more than a splash of color! It's a riot of color!

With this shirt on, I definitely won't be saying either "Hey, I'm here!" or "I don't care!"

I'll be saying: "I feel delighted, focused and maybe a little proud, and nothing can weigh me down today. I'm just alive!"

Edit: typo

Corrected Streak 145: King Arthur's 2026 recipe of the year

Article: Flaky Puff Crust Pizza

King Arthur's 2026 Recipe of the Year is flaky puff crust pizza. I want to make this pizza. I was worried about how much butter it would use because it has a flaky, puff-pastry-style crust, but it turned out to contain less butter than I expected.

By the way, I wonder why they announced the Recipe of the Year in October. I feel like it hsould be announced sometime in December.

Correct Me! Streak 502: I visited Vancouver and I was fascinated by how many accents you hear in the city.

I visited the city two weeks ago and I felt in love with the city. One of the the things that impressed me the most is the multiculturalism and how cosmopolitan the city is. According to Google AI, almost 50 percent of the population has english a second language. So how does it feel to hear so many foreign accents if you are native English speaker? Or slightly wrong grammar?

I’m a native Spanish speaker and other than the US or certain parts of Spain like Barcelona, it is not common to hear a lot of of Spanish foreign accents. But I think Vancouver was more multicultural than Spain or at least the city gave me that impression.

Correct Me! Streak 2: In the picture I can see

Post image

This is a photo of a narrow alley. It looks like the photo was taken in a small Mediterranean town. All the buildings are pure white, the doors, windows and railings are blue or green. The blueness of the sky is very vivid. The pavement is made of grey stones. The scenery reminds me of Santorini Island. If I had to take a second guess, I would say it might be a patio and not an alley. It looks like a perfect spot for summer.

Correct Me! Streak 105: Drowsiness After Swimming

Since midterms are approaching, I stay in the library even after my 8 p.m. swimming class finishes. Regardless of how intense the session was, I always feel exhausted afterward simply from being in the water. Most people are probably familiar with that drowsy feeling after swimming, whether it's in a pool, a lake, or the sea.

Correct Me! Streak 31: Short summary of my Write Streak

I'm tired today and I have no idea what to write so I will summarise my English Write Streak.

First of all, great thanks for everybody who corrects our texts. You don't have to, but you help us in your free time, with no money. Thank you! 👍

I've noticed that I still struggle with "a/an/the". I mess up or forget almost every time. Definitely I have to study this topic.

Second thing (the second thing? 😄) is incorrect tense. In my native language there are three tenses: past, present and future. In English? We all know... Sometimes it's hard to choose a correct one, especially perfect tenses are a big problem for me.

But I don't give up and try to write every day. Someday I will be able to write a beautiful English text 🙂

Correct Me! Streak 267: Tomato House 🍅

I explored to a new restaurant tonight called “Tomato House.” It was a lovely place with lovely owners and a nice ambiance. I ordered the Thai Spicy Fried Chicken, which was a little greasy but delicious.

After finishing my meal, I sat there reading a book on my e-reader. The owner walked up to me and said, “You are a fast eater!” I didn’t know how to respond, so I just said, “Haha, thanks.”

Correct Me! Streak 10,I think my next travel destination will be Taiwan.

Recently, I traveled to two countries : Japan and Vietnam. So, I think Taiwan might be next.

There are a lot of things I'm looking forward to, and historically, Koreans are grateful to Taiwan, so I have positive feelings toward it.

If I go there, I definitely want to try beef noodle soup (牛肉麵), soup dumplings (小籠包), Taiwanese sausage (香腸), and boba (bubble tea).

Correct Me! Streak 764: Manufacturing industry

Since most people who work in the manufacturing industry are old, even people in their 40s are considered young. One of the consequences of the aging workforce is that new standards are rarely adopted and ones that have been used in the company for years keep being used. As a result, there’s always a discrepancy between the official ones and the ones that are actually used.

I've been thinking of learning a third language, but I am still not sure what to learn. I have some languages in mind: Mandarin, Japanese, or Portuguese. However, I have not made up my mind about which one I'll learn because I need to enjoy the process of learning it. This is not for the sake of getting a job or living in a country where one of those languages is spoken; it'd be for fun.

Correct Me! Streak 2 My favorite game

Im so glad thar I have so many hobbies such as painting, listening to music and playing videogames. I like many kinds of games, but my favorite one is Baldurs gate 3 that just reconstructed my opinion of games for their creation. It offer you a really chance to choose your life: to be good or bad, whatever you choose, the game will follow your choices and keep going on which means the true freedom of playing games. It also provides a wonderful fascinating world in middle age western. My favorite character is Shadow heart and Lazel, the girls that have been lied in their whole life, after undercover the truth they can wipe out quickly the sorrow that would crash them. They are so strong. I love those stories, wish I can also keep going on when I meet the difficult of my life.

Corrected Streak 144: The end slice of bread

Article: What people call the end slice of bread around the world

At the bakery I sometimes go to, they sell long loaves of bread. I think they're about 13 × 4 inches. I can buy as much as I want, in increments of about 2.5 inches. I can even ask the owner to slice it to a specific thickness. When I'm the first or last person to buy from a loaf, the owner asks if I'd like to keep the top or bottom crust. I don't actually like those crusty ends, but I often end up keeping them because I somehow feel they're a little special. I don't have a choice when I buy the middle slices.

It was fun to see that there are so many ways to refer to the end of a loaf of bread. According to one survey, the most common answer was "heel." If the name for the end slice were translated directly from my native language into English, it would probably be "the edge of the bread."

Don't correct me Streak 12: A bit of [geography]

Yesterday was my supposed day off. I forgot to inform about it. I'm not feeling well this days, but I'm not going to bring up my stuff. So, For this bit, I'm going to try and write about the second highest mountain in the world: Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

It's an exhuberant place with unique landscapes, archaeological sites, selected coffee beans, myths, and a mountain that elevates from the ocean to its top, at nearly 6.000m high, with three peaks. The highest from the three is Bolivar Peak and it's losing its glacier ice rapidly.

There are way more things to highlight: there's cape St. Lucas, the Lost City of the Tayronas, and other natural treasures. I'm sorry for writing such a poor, lazy text.

-----

Have a nice week and take care. Thanks for reading...

Correct Me! Streak 14: practicing English

I just had my weekly call with a friend of mine.

It's easy to talk to each other because we're quite at the same level. Plus, we also have the same accent! When we can't think of a word, we're tempted to say it in our native language, then look it up in a dictionary.

Those calls are perfect for trying out new vocabulary as we are in the same boat. Neither of us would laugh at the other, but sometimes we laugh together at our mistakes.

Edit: typo

Corrected Streak 30: First day in the new job

Today I've finished my first day in the new job.

I work in the warehouse with a car parts. The job is simple - I collect online orders from a customers. I walk a whole day. Fortunately for me it's not a problem. I don't want to sit or to stand all the time. Walking is OK.

I'm glad because my new colleagues are nice and funny. The atmosphere is very important and I think should be OK in the future.

The only thing I didn't like was return to my home. I don't have a car, the bus was late and there was a traffic jam.

Beside this I have positive attitude and I hope I will like my new job.

Correct Me! Streak 104: Staying up all night

Since I hate staying up late or all-night to prepare for exams, I’m going to try to wake up earlier than usual and make better use of my mornings. This is a tough commitment to keep, but if studying at night is truly torture for me, my body will act on instinct before my will does.

Correct Me! Streak 837

I'm afraid I'm going to get sick. Last week, I was sitting next to one particular person all day - the next day, she had to stay home sick. I felt ok over the weekend but today, I woke up with a scratchy throat and the sniffles. I left the house to go study anyway, which I might regret tomorrow. My condition hasn't gotten better. I'm about to go home now and I really hope that I haven't made it worse by not staying in bed today.

Correct Me! Streak 218

How do you know if something actually bothers you and it is not your mind playing games with you? It's a bittersweet feeling because you wonder whether you are bothered by something that was said to you or happened to you, but you are not entirely sure how to address it, then your mind goes on and on to remind you about it, as if it were asking you to do something and not to stay still. Decide! What are you waiting for to make up your mind?!

Does this happen to highly sensitive people?
