I took some tips from my last post & started contacting drivers with my delivery instructions. I was even nice about it and added an extra $7 to tip since he was coming from the next town over.
he still pulled in my driveway anyway. even after reading my message.
is there a way I can stop this? I have delivery instructions for a reason there isnāt a reason for someone to not follow them. especially If I follow up and let you know directly.

It makes no sense to meāif youāve got the common sense to have a driverās license, why would you ever leave food right up against a door that opens outward? Am I supposed to knock everything over just to get out, or walk all the way around through my garage? This happens at least a third of the time.

Please stop ordering Dominos pizza on Uber Eats. As an dominos worker, whether its incorrect orders or complaints, or issues with delivery, it's regularly from UberEats and Doordash customers. It's actually cheaper and more convenient to order through the Dominos app, not to mention the customers from Doordash and Uber often and usually do not tip, likely due to the higher cost of the food on those apps. Plus, we often get customers who call the store saying "it's not a doordash guy" and refusing the order because the delivery staff that works for Dominos handles ALL deliveries.
Between the time and money wasted by customers, to my coworkers being treated poorly by ubereats and doordash customers who don't know how to use another app for some reason, it makes zero sense that Uber has Dominos on its app other than to charge higher premiums for its own customers and provide them with worse service. So, I kindly ask you please STOP ORDERING DOMINOS ON UBEREATS. Thank you.

Tired of uber eats denying my refund. The pizza is clearly damaged and They won't refund me. Spent 20$ for this crap. Tired of recieving messed up orders and paying hefty price for it.

Tech companies act so innocent in marketing but theyāre wolves in sheepās clothing. Zero accountability or justice will come of this even though I would imagine that this is illegal and I just got scammed.
Safe to say I initiated a charge back and closed my Uber account though. I just hate the fact that they get away with this probably so often.

I ordered Jack in the Box since I was craving it. Since I'm on keto, I ordered no buns or sauce. SOMEHOW I got no patty?? On the receipt on my bag, it says no patty. I can't view my receipt yet, so I click reorder, and it says that there definitely should be a patty. I only got $5 from Uber Eats. This sucks.

This was on a double order. Total was maybe $12 but wasnāt going far and it was slow. Just pulled up to the store, hadnāt even turned my car off yet. This store is busy & Iām not going to pester the employees who already have a distaste for drivers.
Maybe I was being sensitive but thereās a nicer way to ask? I told her good luck & canceled the order. The other customerās order alone was $9⦠and the order she had was BIG lol. Glad I didnāt take it bc I feel like she wouldāve been a problem.

Like come on , 25 dollar tip on a 45 dollar order means it was 55% of the order, from an ice cream shop 7 minutes away.
Respectfully I just want to say to the drivers. Please I get it , if you need the money fair enough, but I paid a high as hell tip and priority to avoid this, and you don't HAVE to accept my order.
So just a word of warning. I will be lowering my tip once I get my food if the temperatures aren't literally perfect ( or in this case with ice cream, not melted at all.) And that's reasonable as I paid exorbitantly for them to NOT drive around with my food once they already picked it up.
Tldr: don't multi app on a very high tipper and then expect them to not lower their tip. Just because I tip generously doesn't mean I don't get pretty annoyed at people spitting in the face of my generosity.
Edit: I'm a zoomer, we've failed the word literally, my point was simply ice cream soup isn't all that's neccesary for me to be upset. It being 15% melted also wouldn't be cool considering its 7 mins away and I paid for priority to ensure no stacked orders, and tipped high as hell to prevent a financial need to multiapp to survive.
I wasn't literally going to be dissapointed if .0005% of the ice cream melted. Poor phrasing, apologies.
Also the tip was never lowered , wether that makes me a good person, or spineless, I'll let yall be the judge.

Iām upset. I ordered grocceries from uber eats and tipped 15%. I understand it might not be the highest amount however, I tipped $7 on a $50 grocery order. It wasnāt a lot, only 8 items. Most then ice bars and bananas. I added one more thing on the list (just gluten free wraps) and my uber eats driver sent me this? I donāt know if she meant that if I add more food I have to pay for it (which duh) or to tip her more! Iām disgusted. I have the flu rn which is why I canāt go to the grocery store and am struggling with money and this just makes me want to take away the tip all together. What do I do

If I hadnt had the pizza already def wouldve cancelled. Why do they think its good to send this message to their driver and send that right away? Sounds like a insufferable human being. The order is not on my earnings an hr and a half after so he probably complained even after the pizza was hot for sure.

This happened back in September but still pisses me off. Our UberEats driver stole a package from our front porch on camera and Uber support did NOTHING to help.
I was told that because the delivery was made, there would be no price adjustment.
I was promised a phone call - never happened. I was encouraged to call the police - on who?? I donāt know the delivery personās info.
I was told Iām responsible for my order after drop off - my issue isnāt with the order, itās with the theft of $108 package.
Chat agents didnāt seem to look at previous messages- called the driver a he (itās very obvious from the pics this was a girl with her ass & ta-tas hanging allllll out) and at one point said they understood my delivery hadnāt been made.
I was told they cannot escalate further than a chat - what about my phone call bitches???
I was told theyāve done everything possible to resolve my issue & they wouldnāt communicate with me further about it - excuse the frap out of me?!?
Then I was asked how their support was - Iām sure you can guess how that went.
Anyone else had similar experiences? Iāve seen subs for similar services that actually responded to and resolved customer issues. Is UberEats just the low rung on the poop ladder? Tell me your worst, Reddit!
*I know 2 of my numbered chat messages are left out. I reached my max pic upload so I left out the 2 most irrelevant screenshots *

Iāve had 3 attempts to explain in uber support chat that I never requested to cancel my order (thereās a longer story to it). Uber just ends my convos saying that I cancelled myself hence the charge, and that theyāve already added 10$ Uber cash to my account⦠How can I at least get my refund not to mention some sort of compensation for ruined valentines evening?

As someone with mobility issues, when my conditions are flaring up and I canāt climb stairs, Iāll use UberEats to get groceries. Yesterday, it said my order was delivered, but when I opened my door there was nothing there. Service person said they couldnāt do anything about it, since the dasher arrived to my location. I explained that I live in a large apartment building with no elevator, and he must have put the items somewhere else (even thought I have clear delivery instructions stating exactly where my apt is). Because of my mobility issues, I canāt go looking for it. He kept repeating the same thing that bc it says the dasher made it to my location he canāt do anything. If I could climb stairs I would have gone to the store myself. No refund, and no groceries.

I thought they took a picture of it on their own car and maybe left it somewhere nearby but went downstairs and found it on a random personās car. Like why did they think that was a good idea???

I had an order that was delivered over an hour late and the driver took other orders while delivering mine. Since you canāt remove the tip until after the order is delivered they make you go through customer service. Little did I know they canāt even remove it then. Talk about rewarding bad service.

I ordered $70 worth of Japanese food for the family ā sushi, noodles, sides, tipped well, the whole thing. Driver shows up and drops off ONE shitty plain Papa Johnās pizza for someone named Kyle. Thatās it. No bag, no explanation, just that sad-ass box sitting there like a joke. Tried calling the driverāno answer. Tried the appās contact optionānothing. Chat says 14 minutes, then after waiting 30 it updates to āweāll get back to you in 6ā12 hours.ā Unreal. The foodās gone, the moneyās gone, and Iām stuck staring at Kyleās sad pizza like a dumbass. No accountability anywhere, just garbage service all the way down. It gets worse and worse!

I received pizzas that were destroyed beyond being salvageable and Uber Eats says the "damage isn't significant."
I used them since 2021 and I don't think customer service was this bad until the past few months.
I tried every option to reach customer service, including the app chat, twitter, email, and phone call. All with the same answer saying that the food isn't damaged enough.
I wonder what the standards for making the decisions are if they are this consistent with their decision throughout all methods and different CS representatives.

As shown in the images, I had a driver curse at me over the phone, tear open my bag of food, and was 20 minutes late. I reported this incident the day of expecting a refund but instead I got passed around to 3 different support agent until finally today they responded 9 days after the incident. They then proceed to lie to me saying I contacted them 48 hours after the order was placed (not true) and that Iām unable to get a refund. Seriously what planet are they on because it canāt be earth⦠has anyone else experienced something like this before?

We ordered about $55 worth of food and paid extra for priority delivery. Instead of coming straight to us, the driver sat at another location for roughly 15 minutes before heading our way.
When the food arrived, it was literally 'hard' cold, not just ālukewarm,ā but cold to the touch. NOT TO MENTION, our sides weren't delivered with the order.
I contacted Uber Eats support expecting at least a reasonable partial refund given the cost, the condition of the food, and the fact that we paid for priority delivery. Their resolution was a $5 credit.
Iām not trying to get anything free......I just donāt understand how this is considered acceptable compensation for a $55 order that was inedible. At this point, it feels like paying extra means nothing, and customer support just shrugs it off OR there simply is no customer service! At least u/doordash has great customer service for paying customers!
**Don't give me BS about ordering out. We've been traveling for the holidays and just got home earlier today with no groceries yet.
**YES, IT WAS FROZEN COLD, we live in Michigan.
Has anyone else noticed how bad this has gotten lately?
