How is Uber still in business?
Uber is the legal definition of bait and switch. So many advertisements for deals and messing with the numbers to make orders look reasonable and then falsifying what you’re actually saving and tacking on opaque fees… I don’t even pay for the premium membership but get it free from another source and it’s still not even close to worth it compared to just looking at store coupons and ordering delivery… How is this company in business when they get your orders wrong and miss items 90%+ of the time?

Because Uber doesnt lose money ever. Businesses have to pay roughly 40k for the service per location yearly. They dont provide benefits for drivers. They dont lose money if an order has an issue the restaurant does. They make millions every month in memberships and contracts. Plus restaurant prices get higher roughly 60-120% through Uber eats and the scam “deals” they offer. My old restaurant would offer free fry on an offer over 25$ when the entrees were roughly 12$ so you’d need to buy something that costs way more than the fries to make the 25$ minimum. Ive never liked uber eats, why pay double or triple for delivery when the food is just going to be disgusting by the time you get it.
