REQUESTING Show with an extremely smart woman mc

I really want to know if there is a show, a good show hopefully that has an incredibly smart/witty female mc, someone just like Patrick Jane in The Mentalist or House Md or Sherlock etc.

There are so many series with a male genius that no one questions and i really do love watching those but i keep on wondering is there a show just like that but with a woman genius in the spotlight? I really crave for a show where a girl pulls all the answers from you know where and it magically makes sense lol

I’d be happy with any recommendation when it comes to genre - really anything from horror to kdramas ;pp (can be cartoons too but those for an older audience)

REQUESTING New Show for Me, My Husband, and Little Sister

We have HBO Max, and Hulu, but we are open to trying other streaming services. My sister is only twelve, and my husband and I are twenty and twenty-one.

My husband, sister, and I all enjoyed Merlin, Gilmore Girls, The Hardy Boys, Freaks and Geeks, The Good Place, His Dark Materials, and Young Sheldon. We’re been enjoying Heartland, for awhile, although my sister likes it more then me and my husband, but we haven’t finished it yet.

My husband and I liked Only Murders in the Building, The Bear, Game of Thrones, House of Dragon, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, The Big Bang Theory, and Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. We liked George and Mandy, but not as much as the other Big Bang Theory shows.

My sister and I both enjoyed Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Find Me in Paris, and Spellbound.

REQUESTING Looking for animated shows to watch, similar to Haunted Hotel and with similar psychological themes? (Might be sensitive topic) Spoiler

Hii! This might be a weird request but let me explain. Recently, I finished Haunted Hotel (Netflix) and I really connected with the subtle psychological themes of suicide and depression with a mix of comedy- I really connected with the dark themes as someone who’s had experience with that and I want to really connect to the characters and their stories as well. I’m a comedy person, and I love comedy with a mix of horror, especially in an animated show. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me? Before you immediately comment, I’ve seen BoJack horseman and smiling friends (those are common recommendations I’ve gotten) Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions/similar shows? I’m open to anything and any rating as long as it doesn’t have 5 or more seasons.

The streaming services I have are:

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

REQUESTING Looking for delightful TV shows to watch during a hard semester

Hi all! I'm having a pretty stressful time in college right now, and I'm looking for some media to decompress to. I just finished watching The Bear, and (MINOR SPOILER ALERT) Richie had my favorite arc by FAR. I loved watching people forge real connections together, and come around to collaboration and love. Since finishing the show, I've been mostly watching youtube indie animations like $uperego, cat city/catopolis, and other smaller projects. A final, kind of stupid example is that one episode of the big bang theory where the ladies get into comic books. I'm really just looking for a good show that has strong interdependent character development and learning about one another. Bonus points for a good ensemble cast. Thanks everyone!

Thirteen Ghosts

When I was younger, this was one of my favorite ghost movies. It had a great backstory, and DVD commentary to go with it explaining the origins of each ghost.

This would be perfect movie to be made into a limited series of 2 or 3 seasons.

Season 1 & 2 could do a back and forth timeline episode sequence. Rotating from current events to events that created the ghosts.

12 episodes a season with 6 ghosts backstories and current events. 2 season to establish all the stories and then a 3rd season to put it all together.

REQUESTING Binge worthy shows that are one season or less? I love psychological thrillers, suspense, mystery and anything with a twist. Preferably not horror or at least not strictly horror. Also not looking for documentaries. I also love emergency med like the Pitt and the show pulse

Looking for shows to binge with one season (2 max). I love psychological suspense, thriller, mystery, things with a twist. some of my favorite shows I’ve watched are all her fault, behind her eyes, and the beast in me. I liked his & hers as well and the mystery and suspense and twists. I used to love true crime, but recently shows I watch before bed show up in my dreams. For example, I was rewatching all her fault and I had a dream I was kidnapped. I still love those shows and would just watch something different before bed, but I would love recommendations that are still psych and suspense and mystery, but maybe a little less scary/realistic? The other thing is though is that I hate unrealistic TV, like aliens and talking dogs and basically things that would never happen in real life. I also love medical shows, emergency medicine is my favorite. I love the Pitt, I liked pulse and the show doc was easy to binge. I could Never watch grey anatomy cause it’s wayyyy too many seasons. I started best medicine and am attempting Wednesday. I love true crime and documentaries but they have been more difficult to watch since my dreams. I still watched maternal instincts and the Mackenzie shrilla case cause those are less likely to happen, but I am hesitant to watch the Idaho 4 right now unfortunately cause my stupid bad dreams. Anyways, im not looking for documentaries right now anyways, just explaining the kind of shows I can watch/am hesitant too right now. With all that said please give me show recommendations! Even if they’re a little scary, as long as they are binge-worthy and interesting (mystery, suspense, thriller) I would love to give it a try and could just watch a quick different show before bed! I know that’s confusing and even hard for me to explain but anything is appreciated :)

SUGGESTING 📺 TV Show Recommendation: Lost in Space

If you enjoyed The 100, you should give Lost in Space a try! It has survival, mystery, dangerous situations, and plenty of unexpected twists. I love shows where a group of people has to work together to survive against all odds. Definitely worth checking out if you're into sci-fi and adventure!
