I know I've posted before about how great green timbers is. Lately I've been feeling down and decided instead of the gym I will walk around the lake more. It's been glorious and so quiet! I love to see people enjoying it so here's a few of my favorite spots. I like the color green and where I grew up we didnt have ferns or moss in the forests, too cold. So this is neat to me. Also fun fact, if you live by king george station walk up 100 Ave, enter the first trailhead. Straight to the lake, one loop, one trip to the parking lot bathroom and back home (the trail you came, not 100 ave) its roughly 10,000 steps!

Yesterday afternoon I stopped by Green Timbers for a walk and encountered a young rooster near the trailhead by 148th and 100th (entered by a gate on 148th). He was quite friendly, allowing me to get close, while he searched around for food.
Apparently it's not uncommon for people to abandon roosters, so I assume that's what this chicken was doing in the middle of an urban park.
I contacted several phone lines for found animals and was passed from SPCA to Bylaw Enforcement to the Wildlife Rescue Association. It was late in the day, so I couldn't get ahold of anyone there.
Today, I heard back from the Wildlife Rescue Association. They said they will send a volunteer out to pick him up and find him a home, if I can locate him again. I'm heading back now to see if I can find him.
So this post is an FYI: if you come across a chicken in Green Timbers, please phone the Wildlife Rescue Association at [(604) 526-7275](tel:(604)%20526-7275). This poor chicken deserves a chance. He won't last long where he is.

Think this was our 10th time doing this.
Me myself found so much focus, and did what I had set to do which is helping my friend set up a Meta Business Suite.
Others, created data dashboards, learned data analytics and created a calendar app from scratch.
It was awesome! DM or comment if you wanna know more

I recently bought a property in Surrey that needs some work. The only vehicle access is through an alley behind the property.
At the entrance to the alley there's a small parking area between the alley opening and a neighbouring driveway. Two vehicles routinely park there and partially block the alley entrance by about 3-4 feet. While they don't completely block access, they make it difficult and unsafe to back my truck and trailer into the alley.
I've contacted Surrey Bylaw multiple times. In a few cases the vehicles received tickets, but most of the time an officer doesn't attend until the following day, often around 11 a.m. when the vehicles are gone and everyone is at work. Lately, when I call for follow-up, I'm told there are no open tickets on file, even though the same vehicles can sit there for 3-4 days at a time without moving.
I've also spoken with the neighbours and they've said the vehicles don't belong to them.
At this point, I'm wondering what my options are. Has anyone dealt with something similar in Surrey? Is there a more effective way to get enforcement action, am I just having bad luck with response times or is this just how it is in Surrey?

Situation: I have a car that is scratched and needs to be taken to a repair shop. The problem is that my mom is currently unable to drive it and I don't know how. So I need some help finding a good designated driver service with reasonable rates to drive our car to the repair shop. Any help would be appreciated, thanks everyone :)

I need to have an elective c section for my second. Should I aim for SMH or peace arch?
I plan to have a midwife. Considering Queen mary or Semiahmoo.
Thoughts?

Hi everyone, Iβm looking to buy an NFC tag (tag that you can tap on a phone and directs people to payment or social media info) and was hoping to get it from someone local. Does anyone make them or know someone who does?
Thanks!

Please dispose of your garbage in the designated bins. If you bring items into the park, remember to take them out with you. Littering is not allowed.

Looking for the above. Have fine long hair, would like a full lightening colour (1-2 shades only). I donβt like highlights and donβt want to do it myself and ideally wouldnβt want to pay a huge amount. Basically doing it to damage my hair a bit so it has some texture and volume and doesnβt get so greasy.

I'm a young adult moving to near King George station, so i would like to know more abt the activities, groups, places to visit!
I especially enjoy nerdy or art events and communities.
And is it a frequent occurrence to go to nearby cities daily for activities, work,...? If so how long does it usually take to travel to nearby cities like downtown Vancouver, Langley, Westminster,...?
Thankss for reading:)

Anyone have recent experience with Luna Midwifery or any other midwifery in Surrey?
We are about to become first-time parents, so not really sure what to expect or how everything works. Weβre meeting with them this week. What questions should we ask, and is there anything we should know before choosing a midwife?
Thanks in advance!
