I laughed right out loud! Because it’s so true. How can one dog be so smart and still be clueless? My girl astonishes me with how fast she learns things, but baffles me when she can’t find her ball that’s right between her feet

I used to always say "sooo smart, Gunner, but soooooo dumb," to my late Rottie, Gunner. I miss him (and the 3 previous Rotties, and one rescue pibble who was my favorite dog. Less than $100 adoption fee, vs $1200-$3500 for Rotties, and the only Female dog I've ever had, and she was just... Different. I have a 4 month old Rottie now, I went "all out" with the best pedigree I could find and afford, and I'm hoping all my professional dog training experience and specifically knowing this breed, turns this into a relationship that is even above Harley, the Pibble. He's already a big-time cuddle bug, and is about as handsome as could be to me.

Here's a pic of Judah, my 4 month old since this is the Rottie sub. I may post Harley as well because she just LOOKS Loving, with natural German Shepherd style ears 🤣🤣

My guy can find objects that I hide in the forest for him to find but keeps rolling of the couch when playing and never learns.
