Doesn't matter. Telling people if they vote the way he wants he will give them money is AT BEST unethical, and almost certainly illegal as well.
He's an embarrassment to this country, a stain on our history.

Kind of like promising to pay off school loans? 🤷🏻♂️

Nope, nothing at all like that. Most economists agreed that would function like an economic stimulus package and would have been good for the economy at the time.
Erasing debt is very different than giving people money for literally nothing, all that does is drive inflation.

I think instead of a Federal Fuel Tax Holiday for 90 Days and a $5,000 "Trump Dividend", we should do a Payroll Tax Holiday for salary under under $250k for 90 days.
A worker making $60,000 a year would see roughly $1,147 in extra take-home pay over those 90 days.
A fuel tax holiday would only save the average driver roughly $16 to $47 total over a multi-month span. The American Trucking Associations, Truckload Carriers Association, and National Tank Truck Carriers all oppose the Holiday as well.

OK, let’s just dispense with a number of favorable assumptions before we get to my question.
Why not do this before the election if that’s actually the purpose?
