The World is slowly becoming less and less Colorful by the day and i hate it.

It pops up in my mind every once in a few and just wanted to share this haunting thought.
How we used to have so much beautiful Color in our lifes.
How Homes looked so beautiful.
How stores, Fast food places, Cities had enjoyabled designs and color.
And nowadays when i walk out of my door...
I am just bombarded with Corporate minimalist Brutalism concrete jungles.
Everywhere i see new homes being build and all they are are just look like square shaped highway Toilets.
Old Beautiful Homes getting busted down to then put a sh*tty concrete block there.
Malls... Malls used to be places where u actively go to meet up and enjoy ur time.
Colorful lighting, lots of Plants, many different areas where each has its theme for food, clothes and etc.
Cars have suffered the same fate, back in the days it was super common when i was a lill boy,
that cars had all beautiful colors and now all u see it black, white, gray, and rarely blue and red.
Stores in the inside used to be colorful too, random milka cow here, random singing apple paper cutout there.
Now its just sterile black white and gray and no fancy random designs and stuff.
i just want the color back in my life.

I don't think AI will kill us all. The simple reason being we're way too easy to manipulate with psyops and social engineering. AI could rule us all for a thousand years without us having the slighest suspicion.

Thanks to AI, being a real musician will be like being a real blacksmith

There are actual blacksmiths still working in the modern world - furnace, tongs, hammer, anvil and all. But it's a very niche thing. With AI, being able to actually play an instrument will become much the same. At least people who buy something made of metal don't call themselves blacksmiths, unlike people who fart out music on Suno or whatever and claim to be musicians.

The same thing applies to any of the arts, be it music, painting, or writing. The one advantage musicians still have, at least for now, is they can ply their trade live. There is no audience of drunkards paying to watch someone paint a picture down at the local bar.

I’m in my late 50s living is the USA. I’m starting to think if I could do it all over again I would build a life around not having a vehicle. That means not owning or leasing. No car at all.

I sell my freedom for money every day so I can make the most of my free time. It’s just absurd when you think about it…

It's a shame how people often work on themselves after a breakup, and it's often many of the things that contibuted to the breakup.

Like, getting a makeover and dressing nice being "back on the market" makes sense. But how often do people, including myself, fix the "issues" that were often friction points in the relationship, after the relationship has ended.. I understand it and it often makes sense in a "learn your lesson" kind of way, but it really feels like it's a shame that we often have to lose something important like a relationship before we fix the things that caused us to lose it, rather than fixing them before losing it.

The Clown Panic of 2016

I saw a special on Hulu for Halloween about “The Great Clown Panic of 2016”. It triggered a random memory for me from when I was a senior in high school.

I remember vividly how terrified everyone was in my small town. Photos started circulating on social media of clowns in one of the wooded areas near the school. I’d love to hear if anyone has stories or experiences from the clown panic of 2016 🤣

Statistically, not everybody is going to like you. So that’s why every now and then you meet someone who dislikes you for no reason.

If you add decently sized rocks to the top of a mountain, you have essentially surmounted a taller, newer mountain than the previous guy did.

I can’t imagine how hard it must to be a recovering gambling addict and watch TV, go to sports events/bars, or do literally anything online today. Stay strong, y’all.

Knowledge

People only know what you tell them. If you fail to mention things that are importance to you. You can’t be mad that someone doesn’t acknowledge your position.

Sometimes the fastest way to get someone to walk away from someone they care deeply for, is for that person to tell them that they clearly don’t care at all.

Car playground for checking out new cars

Basically the title. I wish there was a place where you could go and look at a car you were interested in with no salesman, no buying pressure, none of it. I don’t even care about driving the thing, I just want to sit in it and press the buttons and see how comfy they are. That’s all
