Wild guess would be is you can’t see at a glance if any urinals are open so you’d have to peek around every corner.

That and I would just rather pee between two other guys peeing than two guys shitting when I just want to get in, pee, and get out while inhaling the minimum amount of shit smells.

I applaud the spirit of the redesign, but it very much comes from a place of hearing complaints about a men's room and not actually having used one.
