i don't think the piping will make much difference in cost when it's newly installed. the panels totally would though. these badboys are deceptively expensive.

I saw a post about this on another thread and someone claimed to be a plumber and said it would be an issue and that there was a reason they are all installed next to each other. But I personally dont know a thing about plumbing.

Let enlighten you, a pipe carries fresh water to each toilet and another pipes carries the waste water away to the sewer system. Now you know as much as I do

Not a plumber but I’d assume they need a larger pipe diameter for the toilet to handle solid waste and can use a smaller for the urinal, likely have the urinals linked together then drop down to larger waste pipe all at once, doing it the way the picture shows would introduce a lot of t connections going from 3 inch to 1 inch connections.

I suspect it has more to do with the height. Urinals usually drain through the wall and need fresh water at about 3-4 feet up the wall. (Residential) toilets drain through the floor and need their freshwater close to the floor, usually on the wall. So you’d need more and longer T junctions along the wall for mixing fixtures rather just running the whole line in the most convenient location for that set of fixtures.

Close, for residential toilets water usually comes through the floor.

For commercial they often come through the wall as well.

Source the toilet on sitting on.
