Green Bay v Chicago has always been overated. There’s no parity. The packers have owned the bears since Farve
They can’t even beat the white mike Tomlin and his firmly un elite qb

Am I wrong? I’ve been alive almost 3 decades and I can’t remember one good game with these teams facing off.
Favre owned them, Rodgers owned them and love currently owns them

I guess you have to be 80 years old to remember a good packers bears game

u/headybutthash 9h ago
last year all three games came down to the final drive you would only to have been conscience 1 year to remember

This was the first game between the 2 in the last three years that didn't come down to last drive. It was bad from 93-2004 and again 2011 to 2024, but let's not act like it's not different now.
Packers have all the credit for this win but it was without the bears starting QB, monangai was out and swift playing injured, and 5 D starters out. This felt almost like one of the games the bears would steal when Rodgers was out as opposed to the same old thing.
That being said it was bad. Johnsons worst game and Bagent was terrible. Love played an amazing game as did his receivers.

u/MSPaintYourMistake 13h ago
...GB was out Micah Parsons, Josh Jacobs, their WR2, their pro bowl MLB1, their pro bowl RT, and 2 more starters, on top of missing 3 kicks. Obviously QB being out is big but we were dunking all over them last year even tho we beat Malik Willis. Dunno why you're listing the other positions being out like that's not every team in football.

u/IcemanJEC 13h ago
They make zero difference besides whichever teammate or side chick’s butthole they poking.

u/DisturbedDingle Chicago Bears 13h ago
I don't think you got my point. I'm not saying packers didn't earn that win. I’m saying this isn't the same situation as when games would look like this when the Bears were just plain bad.

u/Servbot24 Green Bay Packers 13h ago
it's a pretty lame rivalry. I don't really care when we beat the Bears, but on the occassion we do lose I have to hear about it for ages
10
u/matteatsyou Chicago Bears 12h ago
At least since Ben Johnson the record is at 2-2, which feels more like a rivalry than it’s been in a long time. Don’t pretend you didn’t care about losing the WC game.
I also don’t think it’s unfair to blame our backup QB (which many Packer fans did following Chicago’s win over Willis a few years ago). A win is a win tho, just praying for a good Christmas present this year from my team.

u/SoftWalruses40 Brett Favre’s dick pic 11h ago
The WC game hurt as all playoff loses do but it was the matter in which we lost that stuck more than it being the Bears.
Fuck the Bears, they’re our biggest rival but 99% of my hate for Chicago sports is reserved for Greg and his baby bears.

This feels like more of a you problem. Beating the Bears is always amazing.

I was going to say I've never met a Packers fan who didn't love the rivalry. Reeks of new or weak fan.

I can't help but feel that Ditka would have approved of that game.
It would have been disrespectful to his legacy for the Packers to give a shit that he died and play anything but their hardest.

You know what? Good. It's a rivalry game and should feel like it. Bears got humbled. They should have been fired up and looked asleep in the first quarter. If they want to take the next step, they need that killer instinct. I think they watched the Falcons game and thought they could half ass it.

u/VintageZero 8h ago
Bagents cheeks and Johnson had a mile long leash on him for some reason. He had Keenum warming up early. Why the fuck he sat on him til the game was out of hand is a mystery.

You’d think the Bears had their starting QB or something with all these memes lol. GB fans are just so desperate for some dopamine that they forgot they beat Jalon Daniels and Tyson Bagent. Can’t wait for them to play a starting QB again and get brought back down to earth.

Bears have still won 3 of the last 5. They beat a trash backup QB. Let's see what happens on Xmas with Caleb and parsons back.

And one of the matchups he referenced was a Malik Willis game
0
u/PIGGYSTYLE 12h ago
Implying what, that Jordan Love was cooking that game before he got hurt? Malik Willis came in and the GB offense suddenly had life again.
Love 8/13 for 77 yards, and another 7 yards on the ground. 78 passer rating.
Willis 9/11 for 121 yards, 1 TD, 44 yards on the ground, and a 142.8 passer rating.
Bears got absolutely beat down in all phases of the game yesterday, but you’re crazy if you think Malik Willis and Tyson Bagent are comparable for your argument here.

21-3? Is that your record against the packers over the last 12 years?
2
u/godlittleangel6666 Jacksonville Jaguars 13h ago
Ok well if both teams were banged the hell up you’d think it would be a closer game and not such a blow out.
The reason I care is bc your fan base has been obnoxious as all hell on Reddit and yall went into this week thinking that you were going to beat the packers with your beat up team and now that you didn’t and you got embarrassed you all are running back to your keyboards to move the goal posts and make excuses
Edit: also according to reddit bears fans Jordan love is mid so it shouldn’t be such a big deal to play him with your backup qb right?
2
u/Dungusfungus95 Chicago Bears 13h ago
I never once was talking shit online because I'm not a moron lol. I only talk shit after the game if it permits it lol.

u/Small_Strawberry_465 12h ago
Caleb ain't gonna help your DB situation though... how ya'll gonna stop J Love? You didn't even come close yesterday. Wait until xmas? Ok, so we can beat your ass again? Sure
