Discussion What Are The Heaviest Songs by MIW?
What songs come to mind, when you see this title?

Pretty objectively, the heaviest section of any miw song is puppets 2 starting around 1:52 and to 2:10. Its just pure black metal pretty much. Theres another pretty heavy section in that song and overall on Infamous. Creatures also had some BM influence and i feel like that does NOT get talked about enough.

Puppets 2 is definitely up there

In the last Apocalypse Fest, Chris acknowledged something along the lines that this was their hardest song to play before they played it and I can see that for how fast and heavy it is.

he's basically rap screaming the entire song, its unhinged and amazing

If it’s dead we’ll kill it featuring Brandan Schiepatti from bleeding through burned at both ends immaculate misconception Abigail. Creatures and infamous best for heavier tracks

Yes, that Schiepatti collab is heavy, I like it also lyrically. Abigail and the opener are some of my faves from Creatures.

I started listening to them earlier this year and infamous & creatures are easily my top 2 albums for them. Scoring the end of the world and disguise are 3&4 for me. Can’t wait to see them next month live

I really do love "Headache", it's my fav song by MIW, and the first one I ever listened to. Playing God is really nice tho. I also love Disguise, meltdown and Voices. Biggest bangers imo

In the range of Graveyard Shift - Decades: Corpse Nation is their heaviest song, by far. There's nothing heavier that I know of. Those verses are brutal.
I say that range specifically because I don't really listen to anything before Graveyard Shift. I have listened to Creatures (album) and it's definitely heavier overall, but the production is not the quality I'm used to so that's why I don't listen to it regularly. I have not heard anything between Creatures and Graveyard Shift so there's probably things I'm missing out on.

Disguise and Devil's Night. Those breakdowns will especially slam you in the chest if you listen to them on a premium sound system.

A song off either of their first two albums or possibly slaughterhouse or thoughts & prayers. But the heavy songs on the first two albums were another level

Creatures: Abigail, Puppets
Infamous: Black Damask, Puppets 2, If It’s Dead We’ll Kill It, Fatal
Reincarnate: Carry the Torch
Graveyard Shift: Soft, The Ladder, 570
Disguise: Thoughts & Prayers, Undead Ahead 2
Scoring the End: Slaughterhouse, Cause of Death, Corpse Nation, Timebomb
Decades: Decades, Playing God, Afraid of the Dark
For songs not on albums, Creatures X: To the Grave is also pretty heavy

I immediately thought of the puppets trilogy but my favourite MIW song is probably slaughterhouse
