What sucks is every time I seem to get over a salary plateu some crazy world changing event happens and the price of goods goes up to where I feel like I haven’t gained a thing.

Chased $100k salary my whole young adult life. I am finally achieving it and that number. Which is great don’t get me wrong, but it’s not the finish line I saw at 16

Man I am trying to get past the 45k mark, or even to the 40k mark at this point in my career.

Gotta start moving companies but jobs are very limited here and I genuinely don't have a toxic working environment. It's rough.
