Personally I doubt it'll go anywhere, at least for the foreseeable future, but it is interesting and one can hope!

You are probably right as far as legislation goes; however, we have good appellate courts in Michigan, I would bet if it goes to court the law would be ruled unconstitutional.

That would be a heck of a win.

Clearly the fed govs intention was to avoid a patchwork of laws across the US in this regard. MI should stop enforcement now while the slow process to fix the state wording goes through.

The biggest thing to do right now is to go for vote in the Attorney General race if you want the best chance to be protected. Everything I see says the race is super tight. That said, I haven't heard an official position by any candidate.

I'm on the border in Indiana and about to join a range in Michigan, but these BS Michigan laws need to be fixed or at least an Attorney General who refuses to prosecute laws that are unconstitutional.

its all going to be dependent on the election in Nov. If the commies get in you might as well stay in Indiana.

Is it a real possibility that the state House/Senate flip to the commies? My understanding is the only reason MI hasn't gone the way of VA is the house knocking down anti gun legislation.

Its a toss up right now except for the rural areas. In my area (eastern MI) it could go either way. I'm hoping we can keep the house and get the governor.
