MSI DarkArmor Film and VisiClarity

PRO MAX 271UPXW12G, PRO MAX 271UPX12G, MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 adopt MSI DarkArmor Film. This specialized film technology is designed to eliminate the distracting purple or reddish tints often visible on old QD-OLEDs under ambient light. It boosts pure black levels by up to 40%, significantly improving contrast and delivering superior image performance. Furthermore, it upgrades the screen surface hardness from 2H to 3H, offering 2.5x better scratch resistance to effectively withstand daily wear and tear.

PRO MAX 271UPXW12G and PRO MAX 271UPX12G also equipped with VisiClarity feature. Both of them have anti-glare to lower the reflection, remaining your screens clean and comfortable.

MSI Uniform Luminance - Customize Your HDR

PRO MAX 271UPXW12G, PRO MAX 271UPX12G, MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24, and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 support MSI Uniform Luminance feature to achieve a highly customized HDR curve tailored to your preferences. This allows for more amazing brightness experience, giving you precise control over your visual output. You can adjust HDR brightness and customize your brightness by APL(Average Picture Level).

Your Best Application For Control the Monitor: MSI Productivity Intelligence & MSI M-Mate APP

For Windows:

With the MSI Productivity Intelligence, you can seamlessly fine-tune various monitor settings—including brightness, display modes, and contrast—directly through software. Controlling these parameters via your mouse offers a far more intuitive and convenient experience than fumbling with physical OSD buttons.

For MacOS:

Specifically designed for macOS users, MSI offers the MSI M-Mate APP, which enables comprehensive control of monitor settings directly within macOS. Furthermore, the exclusive M-Sync feature ensures seamless synchronization between the monitor and your Mac's system parameters. Critical adjustments like brightness and volume are automatically linked, allowing you to transition your preferred settings to the MSI PRO MAX Monitor in a completely frictionless and intuitive manner.

Prevent From Burn-in: MSI AI Care Sensor

PRO MAX 271UPXW12 and MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 equipped with MSI AI Care Sensor, further decreasing the risk of OLED burn-in. By detecting the user's presence, the MSI AI Care Sensor automatically powers the screen on or off, minimizing the risk of image retention caused by static icons when you step away. Furthermore, the sensor intelligently dims the display whenever you look away to conserve energy and protect the panel. The moment your gaze returns to the screen, the brightness instantly restores to its original setting.

News MSI MAG OLED 271QPX32 Unveiled: The World’s First 27” WQHD 5-Layer QD-OLED Penta Tandem™ Gaming Monitor Powered by Samsung Display’s QD-OLED Technology

The new MAG OLED 271QPX32 monitor will make its debut at Computex 2026. This 26.5-inch display features a 4th-gen QD-OLED panel equipped with Penta Tandem™ technology, a 5-layer emitting structure. It delivers 2560x1440 (WQHD) resolution, 320Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms (GtG) response time, and DarkArmor Film technology.

Breaking through the technical bottlenecks of existing OLED panels, the MAG OLED 271QPX32 leverages three major QD-OLED advantages to offer users an outstanding visual experience:

1. Full QD-OLED Lineup Receives QuantumView™ Verification: Consistent Image Quality from Any Angle

The MAG OLED 271QPX32 and all MSI QD-OLED monitors have received QuantumView™ verification from UL Solutions. At a 60-degree viewing angle, it maintains an impressive 83%* luminance retention (compared to just 44% for conventional OLEDs) with exceptionally low color shift. This ensures the picture remains sharp and color-accurate, no matter where users view the screen from.

^(\Source: Official Samsung Display data.)*

2. Say Goodbye to Black Crush: Master Shadow Details

Existing OLED panels often suffer from gamma shifts when switching refresh rates or enabling Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), leading to a loss of shadow detail known as "black crush." QD-OLED monitors overcome this issue. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 features superior low-gray processing capabilities, maintaining consistent gamma performance at any refresh rate to deliver perfect deep blacks and shadow details.

3. Perfect Panel Uniformity: Eliminating Visual Distractions

The entire QD-OLED lineup provides a fundamental solution to the gray banding and screen uniformity issues that have long plagued conventional OLED panels. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 completely eliminates banding interference, delivering a clean, flawless picture.

Beyond panel innovations, the MAG OLED 271QPX32 is the first MSI 26.5-inch WQHD QD-OLED monitor to incorporate MSI's DarkArmor Film technology, which improves pure black levels by 40% and upgrades the screen's surface hardness from 2H to 3H, offering 2.5 times better scratch resistance. This monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR™ 15000 certified. Additionally, it supports MSI's exclusive Uniform Luminance feature, allowing users to customize their HDR curve. For burn-in protection, the model comes with the MSI OLED Care 2.0 comprehensive protection mechanism, effectively reducing burn-in risks and extending the monitor's lifespan. Connectivity options include two HDMI™ 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a, and one USB Type-C (DP Alt.) with 15W power delivery.

Still kinda shocked I didn't screw it up xD thanks to those who helped answer my questions and gave advice in my previous posts. Got all my drivers updated, BIOS updated, XMP enabled, and got a solid roughly 4 hours of Stalker 2 in at max settings. Just stunned. Woohoo!!!

PS don't mind the wire mess on the desk xD I've done enough wiring lately... I'll fix that in time. And as for the AiO pump lines/cables, I may one day "fix" that, and reroute them, but for now, that's the orientation it fit best in, and I can live with the "X" across the RAM.

MSI GF63 Thin 9SC, 5-6 years old

When i was first open my laptop today, it seems oddly didnt turn on the Turbo Mode for my laptop fans. I dont understand why,

My dragon center not working as well, I also doubt it's because my system filed has been blocked as my BitDefender notified about it, but I didnt quarantine it, all i just ignore the notification. But I attempted to reinstall, clean install and clear uninstall, none of them are working.

Then i tried MSI website, website discussion and youtube, none of them are work. Old MSI Dragon Center installer didnt respond after I clicked install, all it do is just gone.

Afterburner didnt do anything, still unable to adjust my fan, then Dragon Center and MSI Center from Microsoft Store and Website still never working, didnt show any settings for my laptop.

Im tired of this, I didnt do anything wrong last time i use to play my laptop, all i do is just play game, sleeping mode and shut down.

Is there any alternate who can control the fan and the battery charging percentage? Im tired of this

Discussion Gaming/editing notebook for traveling

Hey, I’m thinking about buying the MSI Vector 16 HX AI A2XWHG-446XCZ.
I’m a DJ and a gaming enthusiast, and I’m looking for a laptop because I sometimes travel. When I’m on the train, I mainly need it for editing videos in DaVinci Resolve, but I’d also like to play some more casual games. I don’t need to play BF6 or Cyberpunk on the train.

My main concern is the fan noise. Is it so loud that it would disturb people around me? Czech trains can get pretty noisy sometimes, so I’m wondering whether it would be an issue.

Or do you have any other recommendations for what I should go for?

I need at least 12GB of VRAM, which is the main reason I chose this laptop in the first place. For Davinci Resolve

Troubleshooting have an msi rtx5080oc, keep getting black screen system crash and I think its too undervolted but i'm not sure

so my pc keeps black screen crashing/freezing, nvlddmkm.sys/tdr failure (116), already tried a laundry list of solutions including ddu, reseating gpu, tdr reg edit, new DP 80gb cables/new HDMI 2.1 cable, RMA'd the card and the motherboard too and even got a new qd-oled monitor (current working one is display port 1.2, new is 2.1) but absolutely nothing is working. additionally

the only thing I haven't actually tried yet is checking if the card speeds are good or if its undervolted or not, i'm not too knowledgeable with this aspect. I downloaded MSI afterburner to monitor the card, and it says its getting 805-810mv and this was out of box, i'm also not confident in my own skills to actually change it myself but at least if its too low Ive finally identified the problem (maybe) and i can find someone local to assist me.

if anybody wants, I can add the complete list of things ive tried to solve the issue so far.

Troubleshooting Problem with z790 carbon wifi 2 bios update 7D89vAC 08-28-2026

Recently updated my bios to the latest bios and for some reason the cpu is pushing to 6.0ghz and I do not want it to be hitting that, I ran my computer without any overlocks, just stock out of the box.

After recent bios update my cpu began to hit 99c in dragons dogma 2 and gears of war eday. I thought that was unusual since I’ve never had my cpu go over 80c while gaming. Since I’ve updated to the latest bios and firmware update things have been unstable.

At this point i don’t know if it’s a bugged bios because I’ve tried undervolting and locking temps at 80 but in games the cpu is hitting max temp while being utilized at 50 percent or less.

CPU is a 14900kf with a 360mm aio cooler(which is working and pump is pumping) I’ve also opened it up and reapplied new thermal paste. Still having the same problem.

Troubleshooting Hi, ran into an orange/red debug light on my motherboard and the pc is not booting.

So i recently got a cpu from Ebay, yes I know Ebay. But i inspected it and seemed to have no damages. However, installing it with a new cooler, new thermal paste, the computer didn’t seem to boot at all and only flashed orange and red. I realized that the bios needed to be updated for this new cpu (this was a previous prebuilt that came with a bios version that didn’t recognize the cpu so i flashed it and successfully updated it). However, just yesterday booting up the pc after installing the cpu, it passed the red debug light and stayed orange. I heard this was memory training for the new CPU, however it didn’t seem to boot up at all giving it 5-10 minutes. I would like to also clarify that i had already cleared the CMOS battery for roughly 5-7 minutes, i even reseated my gpu but the gpu isn’t the issue. The ram works completely fine with the old CPU, so i know it can’t be the ram (it’s a single stick of 16gb of DDR4). One interesting thing as well is that my pc actually successfully boots with my old cpu, but whenever it comes to the new one, it completely fails.

Please let me know, i’ll be active enough here to update my status.

Heres the specs:
Old cpu: i3-10100F
new cpu: i5-11400F
gpu: 3060ti
motherboard: b560M PRO-VDH WIFI

Solutions i tried: Reseating Ram, loosening cpu cooler screws, cleared cmos, reseated gpu, updated bios, tried power restarting.

I’m not much of a computer expert… actually I barely know anything about them. I got mine from BuildRedux a little over a year ago, and it’s never had many more issues other than frame drops with specific games. But this issue is literally not letting me open anything on my computer past my bios. I can’t even get to my login. Please computer gods! Lend me your strength!

Here is a photo for reference.

Edit: Sorry for not including the specs! I was still trying to find what they were. Again, I’m not AT ALL knowledgeable about this computer stuff. To the point where I barely even know what an SSD is.

Troubleshooting MSI Vector A18 HX – MediaTek MT7925 Wi-Fi Disappears During Internet Drops (Registry fix stopped CMOS reset, but still requires restart) [Need Advice]

Laptop Model: MSI Vector A18 HX

OS: Windows 11

WLAN Card: MediaTek Wi-Fi 7 MT7925

Current Driver Version: 5.70.0.x branch (Updated from early 5.4.0.2974 launch driver)

The Problem:

Whenever my home router/internet experiences a sudden, temporary drop in connectivity, my laptop completely loses the Wi-Fi option. The entire Wi-Fi button/toggle disappears from the Windows 11 Action Center and the settings menu is completely disabled. I am unable to reconnect or even scan for networks.

Initially, the card would lock up so badly that the only fix was a deep hardware flush (disconnecting peripherals, completely draining the battery, and holding the power button for 30 seconds).

The Workaround So Far (Stopped the CMOS Reset, but still requires a restart):

I applied a registry tweak to stop Windows from aggressively cutting power to the slot:

• Added PnPCapabilities = 24 (Hexadecimal) inside the active network adapter registry folder (...\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000).

• Changed the driver protocol inside Device Manager from Wi-Fi 7 down to 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6 mode).

The Current State:

Thanks to the registry fix, I no longer have to completely flush the physical battery charge/CMOS to get the hardware back. However, the problem is still not fully resolved: whenever the internet drops, the entire Wi-Fi setting still completely disables itself. The only difference now is that a standard software restart is enough to bring the Wi-Fi back, rather than a hard battery drain.

What I Have Already Ruled Out:

  1. Purged ALL Virtual Network Drivers: Completely uninstalled NordVPN (including the kernel-level NordLynx tunnel and TAP adapters) and old OpenVPN configurations to eliminate virtual gateway blocks.

  2. Removed MSI AI LAN Manager: Completely uninstalled the network prioritization plugin from MSI Center to prevent traffic routing deadlocks.

  3. Clean Driver Framework: Reset the network cache via command prompt (netsh int ip reset), disabled legacy NetBIOS over TCP/IP, and clean-flashed the MediaTek 5.70 driver branch.

Even with a completely clean network stack and the registry power-saving block active, the card still panics and forces a software restart loop during real-world network packet loss.

Has anyone with a modern MediaTek Wi-Fi 7 card solved this final restart-loop hurdle, or is the chip physically failing under the extreme thermal/power shifts of the MSI Vector chassis?

Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Troubleshooting Problem z płytą MSI X870-p Wifi AM5 szyna PCIe

https://www.reddit.com/r/MSI_Gaming/comments/1w5c7xo/rtx_5070ti_pcie_link_speed_inconsistent_on_msi/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/557611/5080-stutterfreeze-at-win-startup-leading-to-bla/#:~:text=If%20it%20shows%201.1%20or%202.0%2C%20it%20means,card%20to%20consistently%20start%20with%20bus%20version%205.0.

https://www.reddit.com/r/MSI_Gaming/comments/1js94kp/x870_intermittent_stutters_on_boot_tried/

Hello, I randomly came back from a trip and I see my monitor has crapped out. I use my monitor mostly PBP for work so it’s in that mode 90% of the time.

The left side of PBP is corrupt and when I switch to a single source, not PBP, it’s the whole display.

I tried a monitor restart and driver refresh.

In the BIOS the problem persists.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Troubleshooting MSI Afterburner + RTSS wrong boot order

I setup MSI Afterburner with a profile for the voltage and the monitoring overlay. Since I didn't want it on the gaming screen, I set up desktop overlay host on the second screen. Everything works wonderfully and I can enable / disable with a keyboard shortcut just as on the main screen, the problem is that for whatever reason, the boot doesn't load the programs properly. On boot, for the overlay to start working, I have to close MSI afterburner and open it again.

I thought it was a problem of MSI afterburner loading BEFORE desktop overlay on boot, that is why I tried both with the MSI afterburner cfg file as well as windows task scheduler, to delay the start of MSI Afterburner.

Nothing seems to help and the only way to have the overlay working on boot is to either disable MSI autoboot function (and start it manually) or restart it at every boot.

Any tips?
