How it works:

• 8 marbles race every leg: Mango, Plum, Mint, Cherry, Lemon, Blueberry, Taffy, and Broccoli (yes, broccoli)
• Races run back to back
• You pick a marble for the next race by typing its name in chat, like !mango. Picks close when the starting gate drops
• 1st place scores 100 and it drops from there. As long as a marble finishes soon after the winner, it gets some points.

Points are just for bragging rights, with an All-Time Champions leaderboard.

I know chat-driven marble races aren't a new idea, but I didn't see any on YouTube.

The plan is to stream all day every day, across a few individual streams with new new content in the same sort of vein in the works.

Things I'd really like opinions on:

1. Do the courses and obstacles feel like a real marble run, or too 2d?
2. What obstacles would you want to see added?
3. What other scroller-games do you think would fit this format?

Loss Prevention is a social deduction game where you can shoplift your local grocery store with up to five friends. Experience the joy of petty crime as a shoplifter, or keep your eyes peeled for suspicious activity as the shopkeeper. Can you grab all the items on the shopping list?

Roles

The Shopkeeper

Snuff out any shoplifters in the store. That means paying attention to anyone stashing items, listening to announcements from the security office, and just keeping your eyes peeled for suspicious activity.

Shoplifters

Work with your team to steal all the items on their shopping list before time runs out, all while trying to blend in with NPC shoppers.

Key Features

Blend in

Shoplifters must balance between blending in and moving fast but be careful—NPCs can alert the shopkeeper if they notice anything suspicious.

PA System & Sabotage

The store intercom periodically alerts the shopkeeper to suspicious shoppers. Shoplifters can temporarily sabotage the system by tampering with microphones.

Jail Break

If shoplifters are caught by the keeper, they can be freed by fellow teammates, but they must decide between completing the list or risk being caught trying to free their teammates.

K.O.

Watch the corners or risk getting a can of peas in your face. Both teams have their own weapons up their sleeves.

What the game entails:
- Build your own home: Gridwise building, with furnitures, decor items, pots, and frogs.
- Develop your ecosystem: acquire crafting benches, create new materials, race items, better frogs, etc
- Sell and trade: Auction house, player trading and many more, some maybe able to craft really good Decor Workbenches, while others have a proficiency in Race Items.
- Friend up and go on an 8 player mayhem (randomly filled + premade), with your own hatched and trained frogs.

- Put randomly gained items to your frogs: or to others', making the match even more crazy
- Participate in either Short or Normal matches: where during a normal match you can earn Crowns, but beware, predators are also part of that match type, permanently eating frogs, so you should not aim for the first please and definitely not for the last!
- Bring your own items to the party!
- Kick down trees, bump into cacti, and interact with the environment not just with your opponents!

It's a ladder of six stations built from three very old board games: Brandubh (Irish, around 700 AD), Bagh Chal (Nepal) and Amazons (invented in Argentina in 1988). Beat the last station and you reach a final opponent, Māra, who plays a fourth game that isn't in the menu.
Moves in the main games are scored against the best one available, which gives you a Game IQ out of 100.

Description: In this 3D top-down 3/4 game, the protagonist is a Rat roaming in search of food and drink to survive. New resources may spawn at any step, while existing ones lose value; consequently, players must often pause to evaluate the best path across a torus-shaped board, a structure that encourages thinking outside the box.

Involvement: The game was originally created in May 2019 in its most basic form during our university days—we even play-tested it during breaks between classes. The "RaT" was simply a square moving around in search of colored numbers. It has finally come back to LIFE after seven years spent in the "sewers" of the file system... because the two of us, now working professionals, decided to learn Godot.
