Discussion Teach your children kindness, empathy & respect of other life.
*This post especially for those Parents who hate Animals & teach their children to hate also....*
A child who can brutally killed innocent kitten today ...what will he become tomorrow?
Murderer, rapist, terrorist and don't know what more .....
Today it's a helpless kitten.. tomorrow it could be someone.
Kindness is not optional, it must be taught. So teach ur children kindness, emphaty & respect for every life.

He should be institutionalised and isolated from society forever

Sadly no authority will see to it. I am not sure of animal protection laws, but underage laws does not even punish rapists - what can we expect for cat killings

So my school batchmate once killed a puppy when we were in class 1. Like he stomped on his head if i remember correctly. Parents came to school and defended him a lot. Cut to 2023, he is in jail for rping his cousin like bua ki beti. No bail yet. Mom-dad of his had to leave the city out of shame. This incident reminded me of that case. Wait and watch what will he become
10
u/Deep-Possession-8765 Apr 30 '26
Deserve it, i wonder how parents are defending. The kids will grow up thinking if he do something bad it's very supportive. Parents are the ones who should grow up.
20
u/pritihost1995 Apr 30 '26
Exactly. As a child I once threw a little stone at a kitten as I was scared of cats back then. My late dad saw from balcony, came down with a stick and beat me like anything, gave a nice lecture I don't remember anymore. 😂 But now , adult me is caring for 9 cats and 10 dogs and feeding 20-25 stray dogs and cats. I wonder what wud have happened if he would have defended me like my batchmate

u/Deep-Possession-8765 Apr 30 '26
I guess you'd be a spoiled kid if your grandpa didn't show up. I love people who show empathy, keep doing, keep inspiring.

Ik I've known some kids younger than me while growing up and even now who think throwing rocks at animals and hurting them is completely ok, and It was always hard for me to convince them why it's not ok, they either ignore it or just laugh it off so I gave up. I remember in childhood my guardians use to scold if I shake trees in night cuz they're sleeping, it had an effect on me that I use to make sure my ball doesn't hit small plants too hard while playing football. So it has to come from parents.

Too angry to correct it..or too see what exactly i am writing.
0
u/JawkneeJyoshtar Apr 30 '26
It's alright but I'd say control anger otherwise you may see yourself become like that very kid
You may be a lot similar to him than you think as much as you may say you're not. We all are the same species in the end.
2
u/Chance-Bunch5828 Apr 30 '26
No I am not the same. Many circumstances happened. I was mad but didn’t kill anyone. Instead I chose to become more compassionate. I could have but I chose different.
1
u/JawkneeJyoshtar Apr 30 '26
Yeah that's what differentiates humans from each other.
Two of the seven categories of Vaisheshika, Sāmānya, the generality of traits which group is together and visesa, that particularity of traits we have that makes us different and unique from the group we are in.
2
u/RealisticDimension7 Apr 30 '26
Pls give me a break. What's this obsession with siding with someone just bc they belong to my species. I hate fucking humans while being one. It's paradoxical but not something unusual.
1
u/JawkneeJyoshtar Apr 30 '26
Did I ever say to side with them? I mean if you look at any other comment I made on this post it's clear I'm more on a side against the very existence of people like this kid. But people like this kid are somewhere amongst all of us.

Generalisations are earned. Develop some empath brain and focus on the cruelty that so called kid did.

Dexter used to kill neighbour’s dog. This was the reason Harry never allowed Debra to get a pet.

In one of the previous big societies that I lived in Bangalore, just last year, in the WhatsApp group there was a discussion where a woman captured a kid terribly harassing a cat and asked his parents to tell him to not do it, she didn't know whose kid he was. In the video, the woman was also telling the kid not to.
The WhatsApp group was lit after this message where his parents went with poor language, abuses, and what not on the woman who posted. Many others in the society jumped in to defend the woman saying they say this kid harass cats several times and earned him not to. The parents went on to create a youtube video (they had a popular channel) shaming people in our society calling them inhumane for humiliating her kid.
In all this chaos, the parents defended their child's behaviour unconditionally.
The child was seen kicking the cat The parents "he's being playful"
The kid was throwing big rocks "He's playing fetch with the cat"
The kid was hitting the cat with a stick repeatedly (the cat was cornered and screaming): "We asked him not to touch stray animals so he was touching the cat with the stick"
Im an animal lover and fostered several kittens and puppies. I met several types of families when I put them up for adoption. The kid was least bothered after all this and he continued harassing dogs by luring them with food and throwing sand or rocks at them.
There are psychopaths everywhere .

Just reading this made my blood boil. Such galeech people!!! Animal abuse deserves no sympathy.
6
u/madsy421 Apr 30 '26
Honestly, this is a subreddits empathetic to animals, so I find a lot of people condemning this outright, but truth is, a lot of people in India hates cats(and most animals). They don't even give them any value... Recently saw 4 kittens near our apt from a female cat around there(we found her too late, so could not neuter). They were around for a while, 2 were sick, so we took them in(one passed away, other one is up for adoption currently, all healthy now) the 2 healthy ones.... Just disappeared overnight. We still don't know who did this the cats there are mostly friendly, so I am positive it's not them.
4
u/True_Percentage2008 Apr 30 '26
Hating/ not liking animals is not the same as actively torturing them. It’s psychotic behaviour. It’s called Macdonald triad, three childhood behaviours that predict psychopathy or trauma. 95% of serial killers indicated to have suffered from antisocial tendencies or psychopathy. This is not just about animals but also about violence. Showing lack of empathy is a major issue and can lead to more violent crimes in the future. We need mental institutions at this point.
9
u/Relevant_Nebula1537 Apr 29 '26
As someone who lives with neighbours who keep cats, I find this unacceptable and uncalled for from the culprit's part. The parents are equally to blame.
6
u/JoBoltaHaiWoHotaHai Apr 29 '26
As someone who lives with neighbours who keep cats
How is that relevant?
1
u/Relevant_Nebula1537 Apr 30 '26
Because I've seen how they take care of their cats. If this incident had happened to their cats and even kittens, that boy and his family could've faced legal trouble on the spot.
I know my neighbours.

Just curious, what are the implications since he is a minor and the incident will more likely to be passed off as 'harmless' to humans. Sure, there have to be some actions for this despicable act, right! Right?
1
u/ThePunderfulGuy May 02 '26
no implications, pretty sure the parents and society will defend it while secretly thinking good riddance from the kittens
6
u/AdiKadiAdi Apr 30 '26
I'm partially happy most people have learned to spot a psychopathic murderer.
I'm partially sad we don't do what's necessary.
4
u/Necessary_Way6446 Apr 30 '26
If parents claim mental illness, why is he roaming around killing kittens? Send him to an asylum ffs
5
u/Lololover09 Apr 30 '26
He is already a psychopath. This boy will grow older and carry out similar acts as his brain isn’t normal.

I can relate, but objectively, it's the parents fault for not teaching their kids empathy early on. When my cousin brother was about 2-3 years old, our aunt (who is a mother of 3 adults) used to encourage him to hit others 'playfully' which I always knew was a bad parenting. Instead of teaching him kindness and empathy, she taught him it was okay to hit others older than him. And of course, he grew up violent. Until age 6-7 he used to hit everyone when he was in a bad mood. He's now around 9, I think... I haven't seen him in a long while but he has changed a lot because he had to live in a different environment for a while.
The point is, whether a kid will grow up to be empathetic or violent depends on their environment and parents need to understand that before they decide to raise a kid.
3
u/chubbypetals Apr 30 '26
The lack of empathy should be alarming for parents
1
u/sleep_Deprived_Hun Apr 30 '26
Kids learn what they see. I am sure his parents don’t share a good bond
1
u/chubbypetals Apr 30 '26
True But kids can be aholes without any external influence as well. Empathy needs to be taught sometimes I’ve seen poor kids do the same to dogs puppies and many other instances
1
u/tempthroaway04 May 02 '26
This is a straight-up psychopath. They come pre-made from the womb itself. No cure for this species.
3
u/TraditionAromatic399 Apr 30 '26
Just put him inside a cage and send to an institutional home. Some people deserve the suffering they get.

u/profesionalbatakquak Apr 30 '26
I remember when my cousin used to bearish with my cat, obviously he was a toddler who never interacted with animals before I would tell him to not do it otherwise theta might attack him, my cat was gentle with my cousin. then one day his mother got up, held his hands, and told him if he does not stop bothering the cat, the cat will attack him, just like how he would get mad at someone who is bothering him then she taught him how to gently play with the cat how to pet him how to interact with him. it's that easy

One of many reasons I don't want a child and definitely not a boy :)

Kids like these are more likely spoiled than mentally ill (Im not saying mentally illness is not a possibility). Have a kid like this in my society, goes around killing newborn puppies with a stone and when other kids/ parents avoid him he forced his way into a house and picked up a toddler, throwing him upside down. No matter what he does his grandmother is the first one to defend and brawl with others for his case.

u/Over_Tailor_6485 Apr 30 '26
I don't care how old or young one is,you hurt animals,u have all my hate and I don't use the word hate lightly,I just hate hate hate ANYONE who hurt animals, what a burden u must be to this planet if u think the lives of kittens are that easy to take away. Horrible parents and most horrible kid out there. Shame.

I have a stray cat who lives mostly at my house .I feed her and she’s given birth twice .I’ve liked to have cats around me since I was a kid .I just have a single wish since then that I wish to hold a baby kitten in my hands .Ik it’s not so far fetched but I just can’t gather the courage to even touch it because it’s so delicate .Even the cat that stays w me rn ,she’s given birth twice .I just can’t do it or disturb them w my presence .I can’t even process this

u/shoppingstyleandus Apr 30 '26
Here comes a serial killer who would kill his own parents in future.
1
u/mimical_skull Apr 30 '26
As a 9 year old, this one time I was playing with little puppies and there was a small pool beside, we put the puppy in the water to see if it could swim and then didn't take it out, this was a boys hostel and my home was close by so I used to go there to play with them pups, that day I came back home without taking the pup out and I felt so guilty. I still think about it sometimes and feel so guilty, thankfully the boys from hostel took it out the next day. I CAN'T IMAGINE KILLING 4 KITTENS WTAF IS WRONG WITH THIS KID, I'D LEAVE HIM ON THE STREETS IF HE WAS MY KID!!! SO HORRIBLE

I can't stand it when a kid approaches my cat or rabbits. Because I'm afraid what the kid might do to them or if tries to harm them. So I either stand guard or pick up my cat/rabbit and go someplace away from the kid.. Because I know damn well that you can't trust a kid with animals.

u/OddPrint220 May 02 '26
This reminds me of a recent incident. My mom was walking outside the house and I suddenly heard her shouting and scolding a kid. I went outside to see what happened and asked mom what was the matter. She said a kid threw a LARGE stone at our cat who was sitting outside (the area is usually safe and further away from the road, so she goes outside to litter or just sits in the grass and watches people and birds passing by)
Thankfully, the stone missed her otherwise she (my cat) could have been seriously injured + she's pregnant, I would have seriously lost it if anything bad happened to her future kittens... That kid got a good scolding by my and his parents and didn't try to do anything bad to my cat again.
Sometimes I hate human kids for this kind of behavior. But then again the parents are at fault too for not teaching their kids kindness.
1
u/NotJaneWilde May 02 '26
I think that it is not a small problem. I think that kid has some psychopathic behaviour or maybe he is sociopathic. He lacks empathy. His parents should really show him to a doctor. This is not normal behaviour. And some people in common generalizing the children. They are some horrible people. But this kid is not normal. He needs attention

So if they are claiming mental illness then why the kid is all alone, he should be under constant surveillance by family members, are they gonna claim the same if he killed a human . That is no illness that is a psychopath in development
1
u/Few_Goose_1562 May 03 '26
As someone who has autism myself I would never dare or even want to harm an animal, This is textbook psychopath behavior, though the boy can still be taught better since many people who don't feel empathy or emotions still do the right thing and don't commit evil

There have been studies (longitudinal observational studies) proving that those who hurt or kill animals as a child grow up to be anti social -ranging from sadist to rapists to pure psychopaths like serial murderers..More common amongst Boys, attributable to SRY gene on Y chromosome

Just teaching kindness isn't enough. We need more awareness about mental health disorders and their treatments. Psychopathy/sociopathy is caused by antisocial personality disorder which cannot be treated by just teaching kindness or empathy, medications and therapy are needed to treat this disorder. Antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) causes low empathy, zero guilt after committing crimes, reckless acts, impulsivity, etc. Psychiatrists and psychologists use the hare checklist to diagnose it.

Apr 30 '26
What about who kills goats , pigs , cows , hen , and eat them . Do u think they gonna become all those things ? And now don't say it's okay for them to eat those animals and there life worth nothing or they are raised to eat . He killed kittens he might got mental illness or don't have maturity yet who knows he understands later in life about love towards animals . So don't judge this little boy he mad mistake and he should be punished for it iam not supporting the act .

u/ThePunderfulGuy May 02 '26
I'm a vegan so that logic won't apply to me and hence I'm morally superior according to you. now take this mediaeval era logic and shove it. maybe ask your masters why they allow it and why the county exports such large quantities of meat before puking shit over here.

Then it doesn't matter if he killed those kittens according to u cuz they are lesser beings right ? Just like cow , goat , and many ones
