Discussion HomeView is a HomePod with a screen?

“The mighty yet compact speakers pack a serious punch. Two custom full-range drivers in the display keep everything sounding crisp and clean while delivering room-filling Spatial Audio. Computational audio adjusts consistency and balance in real time to deliver incredible sound every time, from anywhere. And a down-firing woofer and two force-cancelling passive radiators are built into the base — for deep, rich bass.” How is this not an OG HomePod with a screen?

How does that work for the wall mounted variant?

Omits the sub; disappointed it’s the same price

If they dropped the sub and included the wall mount that would make sense but loses a big use case.
