Loud people

• Upvotes

Not even people that talk unnecessarily loud but every task is like soo obnoxious. I had a roommate that when she walked she shakes the whole floor, and you can feel it in the other room, it was so annoying. She isn’t even heavy it’s just the way she carries herself ig. She also just did everything very audible, like Everytime she texted she had read it out loud as she types as she sips like so freaking loud. I’m starting to think she just lacked spatial awareness and i it was getting on my nerves like I couldn’t have some peace in my home even in my own room.

So glad to not have to live with people like that again lol!

Hate that annoying ass song. She literally sounds like a monkey. Hearing that on on the bus every day after school in 2019 was pure nightmare.

Too many posts "[Removed by Moderator]"

I like to check my comments I've left and see how they're doing but so often posts I have left comments on will show as [Removed by moderator].

Once in awhile is whatever, probably a good reason it was removed. But it's soooo often and also have no idea why it would even need to be removed in the first place.

It's especially worse when you leave a lengthy comment you spent a lot of time on only to check on it 5 mins later and see the post was removed. Like, cool. Guess that was a waste of time and I won't see any input from others about what I said.

I recognize there can probably never be a happy medium. People will complain about posts and people (like me) will complain about posts being removed. Reddit just seems extra trigger happy to remove posts for the smallest reason. They aren't even my posts! lol But once the post is removed it's pretty much dead to other Redditors so all the comments and convos that happened are just screwed over.

When people online call real gay/lesbian couples "yuri"/"yaoi"

This bothers me, and I've been seeing it way more often. I find that its just rude and annoying, as if they're talking about characters rather than actual people (I'm not great at wording things). Does anyone else see this in comment sections? Does it bother anyone else?

After watching this, do you agree or somehow disagree with my opinion of cords being annoying in several different aspects?

I'm pretty sure everyone has seen this comments especially the one in the photo, they are so annoying. Like, I get it it's a horrendous thing but, why post it on a funny meme video and spam it everywhere? the case is old, and it's just gonna make people hate the copypaste. I've seen a lot of videos of people being tired of this saying they're gonna start raping people atp.

Just say "bye, have a nice day"

I do not need a 3000 word essay worth of goodwill wishes. I do not need the blessing of my whole family tree up to my great granduncle's stepfather. Please for the love of all that is holy I do not have much time I need to go! Every time it's like two whole minutes of my time wasted on something that has not even a smidgen more value to me than a simple "good luck". I swear one more today and I will just interrupt them with "bye, have a good one", turn around, and leave. Just stop!

Title: Should I Pay ₹6,174 to Close My FatakPay Loan While My RBI Ombudsman Complaint Is Pending?

Hi everyone,

I need advice regarding an accidental loan taken through FatakPay, with FDPL Finance Private Limited as the lender.

Here is my complete situation:

- Loan sanctioned: ₹7,000

- Net amount disbursed: ₹6,174

- Loan ID: LFPL-00006777483-12352959

- Loan date: 1 October 2026

- Cooling-off period mentioned in my loan documents: 3 days

- Due date: 4 November 2026

- RBI CMS complaint number: N202627010023322

On 1 October 2026, I accidentally accepted the loan because of an unintended click on the FatakPay platform. I did not want this loan and did not intend to use the funds.

I immediately emailed FatakPay requesting cancellation and asking them to stop the disbursement because I wanted to cancel the loan within the stated 3-day cooling-off period.

However, the company later informed me that ₹6,174 had been transferred to my Bank of Baroda account on 3 October 2026 and that cancellation was no longer possible because the funds had already been transferred.

I did not use the money. I contacted customer support and raised a grievance, but my issue was not resolved satisfactorily. I also received no satisfactory resolution to my cancellation request.

Therefore, I filed a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman through the RBI Complaint Management System. My complaint was successfully registered under number N202627010023322 on 7 October 2026. I also requested ₹1,000 as compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Now, after several days, FatakPay has asked me to repay the amount that was credited to my bank account, ₹6,174.

My main questions are:

  1. Should I pay ₹6,174 now, or should I wait for the RBI Ombudsman to examine my complaint?

  2. If I do not pay before the due date while the complaint is pending, could FDPL report the loan as overdue to credit bureaus, damage my CIBIL score, or charge additional interest or penalties?

  3. If I repay ₹6,174, will that affect my RBI complaint or my request for ₹1,000 compensation?

  4. Under the RBI Digital Lending Directions, can I insist on exercising the cooling-off exit option when I emailed the lender within the stated period?

  5. Since the lender says the money was transferred on 3 October, does that automatically mean I cannot cancel the loan, even though I requested cancellation on 1 October?

  6. If I decide to pay, should I obtain written confirmation that ₹6,174 is the full and final closure amount and that the loan will be closed with no further dues?

  7. Is there any risk that paying the amount could be interpreted as accepting the loan or withdrawing my complaint?

I have screenshots of my original cancellation email, the lender's response, the grievance acknowledgement, and the RBI complaint registration.

I would appreciate advice from anyone familiar with Indian digital lending regulations, RBI complaints, and cooling-off periods.

Please suggest the safest practical step to protect my credit score while keeping my complaint and compensation claim alive.

Thank you.

“It’s not safe anymore these days”

gen x and boomers love saying this dumb shit as if they didn’t live through the 70s, 80s, and 90s. those were literally the most dangerous times to be alive, active serial killers everywhere, child abductions because yall didn’t know where your kids were, these are statistically the most safest times to live in. we’re just used to seeing crime happen bc we have more access to social media, but id rather go outside now and take a walk through my neighborhood at night in 2026 then if i lived in 1986 or something. my mom grew up in the 80s in nyc, this new age isn’t nothing.

How do people not understand that using phone on loudspeaker, either watching videos or on call in places like cafe or bar or restaurants for long duration is just so annoying. Nobody else wants to hear your videos, it’s like noise.

You want to be in the group chat, but apparently participating is asking too much

I have a friend who wants to be in the group chat but constantly claims he’s “not a big texter.”

Which is fine. Nobody is demanding hourly updates, instant replies, or a detailed report of your daily activities. But I do find it interesting when someone wants to remain included in a group while making very little effort to interact with the people in it.

Nobody is forcing you to text. Nobody is forcing you to socialize. Nobody is asking you to make the group chat your entire personality. But if you consistently show little interest in participating, people are eventually going to adjust their expectations accordingly.

What I find amusing is the apparent expectation that your place in a friendship group should remain exactly the same regardless of how much effort you put into maintaining those friendships.

You want to be included, but you don't want to communicate. You want to remain part of the group, but engaging with the group seems optional. You want people to remember you're there without necessarily giving them much reason to feel your presence.

At some point, it stops being about whether you're a big texter and starts being about what kind of friendship you're actually interested in maintaining.

And no, being quiet in a group chat doesn't automatically make someone a bad friend. People have different communication styles. But there's a difference between someone who doesn't text much and someone who seems to want all the benefits of being included without any meaningful participation.

The funny part is that nobody has to confront you about it. People can simply stop expecting you to contribute, stop directing conversations toward you, and stop making extra efforts to keep you involved. Eventually, the group adjusts to the level of engagement you've demonstrated.

Then everyone can carry on accordingly.

You are perfectly entitled to be a person who doesn't text much. Other people are equally entitled to stop treating your occasional presence as evidence of an active friendship.

You can remain in the group chat. You just can't expect the friendship to maintain itself indefinitely while everyone else does the work.

If your condom ad is wailing and whining in the store. Console them, discipline them, do SOMETHING to get them to STFU. Nobody wants to hear that semen demon scream for 20mins or however long it takes for you to gtfo of the store.

FLUSH THE FUCKING TOILET/STALL AND DON'T SHIT ON THE FLOOR.

If you're going shopping on a budget don't fill your cart with $300+ worth of items talking about "let me know when it gets to $80". Also make sure you're card is unlocked, have your payment ready when you get to the front of the line. You're holding up 10+ people because you can't find what card has money on it and have to put back half the cart because you knew you were broke af but still decided to load up all that shit anyway.

Don't ask no stupid ass questions that can be answered by 3 seconds of reading at a 3rd grade level. Context clues go a long way.

making every interaction with someone about their nationality

As someone who's moved around a lot, this is one of the things that has started to really get on my nerves. I've lived in four different countries over the past 12 years and made a few friends in each place, and there's a subset of my friends who will regularly interact with me through the filter of my nationality almost by default. It could be something as harmless as sending a meme like "people from X country be like" asking me confirm if it's true, to more singling-me-out kind of things like constantly asking me what life is like where I'm from, putting on an accent (my accent in English sounds nothing like where I was born), and basically referencing my nationality at any given moment. Now, I know they mean well and are probably just curious or want to accommodate me in their own I'll-informed way. But man I haven't even lived there in over a decade, I'm probably the least patriotic person from that country you'll ever meet and there's a reason I left in the first place! It just annoys me seemingly being defined exclusively in that way like that's the one thing that stands out to them about me, rather than things that are much more important to me as a person like my sense of humour, likes and dislikes and just who I am as a person beyond my nationality. There was a time when I wouldn't tell anyone where I'm from for this very reason but that was kind of silly too because it is a fact about me, but just one amongst many others. And actually I'm quite lucky in that most of my friends never bring up my nationality unless I do and so with them I feel truly seen for who I am rather than the passport I have. I don't know, I just thought I'd post this in case someone relates.

I hate when people include a random image in their post and then say "image unrelated"

Like, why'd you include it then? It adds nothing, it's just clutter. This is especially annoying when they don't say that in the title of the post but the entire post body is just "image unrelated". Like, if you're going to bother adding an image, make it meaningful, make it add something to your post, instead of just including an image for the sake of it.
