Need help finding this fabric please!
I accidentally cut my fabric too small for a project I'm working on (a quilted historical overskirt) and I'm trying to track down any size pieces I can get my hands on.
I'd be more than happy to purchase it, but I can't find it with an image search online or on EBay.
It's a lilac purple background with darker purple roses and periwinkle blue small flowers with small green vines on it, and the selvage says it's "Faye Liverman Burgos for Marcus Brothers Inc”
Does anyone have any of this fabric? Or know someone who might/does?
Thanks so much!

What is the best blend of wool for quality and durability?
I've been thinking about getting new throws after my relatively new fur throws have degraded due to humidity. And I'm wondering what material I should be looking at. It can't be cotton or faux fur. And I was thinking of possibly linen, but considering that winter's coming, I think it's probably best to go for merino wool and plastic.
And now I'm thinking about if I should get a full merino or a merino blend? I've been looking at blankets online and I've seen 100% merino options and also 80% merino blends and 60% merino blends and so on. Which is best? I want a blanket that's premium feeling, comfortable, and durable, with little to no shedding.

Where to sell fabric?
I have a bunch of vintage and newer fabric that I’m looking to sell/get rid of. I already have some on marketplace, but wanted to know where else I could sell it?

H&M "Cotton Weave" (Art. 1304741001 / 1297891001) — Is it actually Poplin?
I shop H&M online constantly, and they usually name the exact weave (Poplin, Oxford, Dobby, Seersucker). But for two white shirts I saw in a reel (Art. Nos. [1304741001](tel:1304741001) & [1297891001](tel:1297891001)), they lazily labeled them as generic "Cotton Weave".
I hate rough Oxford fabric and stick strictly to smooth, crisp Poplin. I know these aren't Oxfords, but what is H&M's default "cotton weave" usually—standard Poplin or Fine Twill?
Does anyone who owns these know for sure?

What is this fabric?
It's like fleece but the fuzz is longer. I like how it feels. Picture in comments since I can't seem to add to post.

Wool jumper ruined in the wash
Hi - My woollen jumper accidentally went through the washing machine (60 min, cool, detergent, no fabric softener). It’s now shrunken and fuzzy. It’s an Aran-type jumper - The knit was so well defined but now it looks like it’s all blended together and has this fuzzy overlay. The shrinking I think I can fix but PLEASE let me know if you have any advice for either issue.

Wool or flannel for petticoat?
Been sewing clothing and costumes for 5+ years, but used mainly thrifted sheets.
I want to make a underskirt to use for daily layering during fall and winter, am I going to want to use flannel or wool? Where would the best place to purchase that be?
I have a 'Brother strong and tough' I bought in early 2025, if wool will it be able to handle the fabric?

Help! What fabric should I use for my wedding outfit?
Help! What fabric should I use for my wedding outfit?
Hi!! Can someone please help me? I’m so lost when it comes to fabrics!
I want to recreate the outfit in the picture in white silk (or a silk/cotton blend). Absolutely no polyester, as I’m allergic.
My main concerns are zero transparency (no bra, nipple covers, or visible underwear), keeping the structured silhouette, and staying comfortable in summer
I was considering:
Top: Silk taffeta (100–120 gsm), silk shantung or silk dupioni/raw silk (130–160 gsm).
Trousers: Silk shantung or silk dupioni/raw silk (140–160 gsm), or silk taffeta (100–120 gsm).
Lining: Lightweight silk habotai (70–90 gsm), possibly in nude.
Am I on the right track? I’ve been using ChatGPT to research fabrics, so please correct me if I’m wrong!
Would these fabrics work? Would you recommend using the same fabric for both pieces? And would lining be necessary?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Question about polyester
Hello :)
This is honestly just out of pure curiosity that I'm making this post.
Some days ago I saw some very expensive boxer underwear, like around 100 $ for 3 pairs. When I went to look at what it's made of it was either made of 40 or 60% polyester. Is there a legit and consumer friendly reason as to why such expensive underwear have polyester in it, or are they straight up just saving money on something that is already way overpriced?
Idk if it's disallowed to mention the company, but it's a very well known brand.

Help me identify fabric type
I don't know if this is the right sub but can you help me identify the fabric. This is duvet cover that I want to buy and the page claims that it's "premium cotton" lol. Can you tell if it's cotton at all? I feel like it reflects light on some areas so that is what is putting me off and it makes me think that is some sort of blend.
Photos that they sent me are in the comments
