Opinion / Commentary Some of you really need to get a life.
Expecting the mods to have the same mental illness and obsessive complex about the world as you do is not healthy.
Did you ever think that maybe we are just regular ass dudes who aren’t interested in taking part in your online war? If you are so interested in overthrowing/preserving the government, then go home. At least then none of us will have to suffer through you making fools of yourselves on the internet because you won’t have it!
Same to the Ethiopian trolls who think it’s funny to talk about invading Eritrea. Yall should have shame…
Bunch of sociopaths in here pushing your rhetoric, hope yall get shot first.

Can’t wait for the comments to be like “how dare you conduct yourself in such a manner!? Who let you be mod, you should step down!”
Bunch of incels wasting their lives on being scum on the internet. Grow up and find God.

I agree no one should be calling you out of your name but if you’re a mod you should moderate… but no one is perfect and you won’t see everything. I think if someone brings something to your attention you should be able to do something about it as it’s in your scope.

I agree with you and thanks for the DM earlier, Ill remove it. But lowkey also people in here gotta develop thicker skin. Its just a post it cant hurt you. also its just a joke post. Through the lens of humor its acceptable...because it is objectively hilarious.

Right on hawey 💪🏾 yeah I agree but if you give someone an inch they’ll take a mile. You let that slide and it’ll encourage more trolls to think it’s an ice rink.

I prefer the trolls that are funny to the ones that are joking about killing other ethnicities.
also, what is famgoooon in atlanta?

A rapper called Ralo from ATL it’s his brand and he used to scream and use it as his adlib I used to think it was the funniest thing. (He’s a rat now so I’ll probably change it to something else)

Everything is always politics with eritreans. Not sure how many ppl here remember redsea1 forum from back in the day. Was a great place for eritreans to discuss many different topics but its the same thing that killed that forum. Few users constantly spamming politics.

No offense. But If the mods are uninterested they can give away their mod role or simply allow more people to join the moderation team. Just saying. If I signed up to be the school librarian I attend and complete my role.
When I attend after school club events to volunteer as a teach and teach programming I make sure to attend these classes, not bail when the time comes. This isn't anything profound.
No one is forcing you to be the r/Eritrea mod. If you are too busy relugate this subreddit. Then delegate some of that responsibility someone else to someone else or simply step down.
I'd rather have competant and active mods who care & enthusiastically complete their duties rather ones who are "too busy" (fair life happens) but at the same time want to latch onto their mod status while doing the bare minimum to address the issues. I'm sure there are probably some Eritreans who would be happy to take on that responsibility.
Complaining about being chronically online to deflect from completing your responsibilities (you willingly chose to sign up to) is silly when the role you volunteered for was to moderate said chronic online stuff (sorry that's the nature of online forums). Volunteering doesn't mean you get to be free of criticism.
This subreddit has always been what is essentially the wild west and honestly I've found it sad to see how blatant rules can be broken. I see for an example rule 2, 3 and 4 broken all the time with inaction. Some comments literally sending hate to Eritreans as well, but they are left up.
Sometimes I wonder if this subreddit is run by people who secretly hate Eritreans.

I can’t judge you for your lack of perspective. But there is a ton of irony in assuming we dislike ourselves 🙄
I don’t like the fragility of ok who assume that critiques of the government or challenge prevailing culture constitute hatred of Eritreans the vast majority of users who complain about “antieritreans” in the sub either 1. Don’t know the user is or has been dealt with, or 2. Are mad that content that competes with their world view is available for all to see.
You make some good points but it lacks a realistic view of what it’s like on this end.
I have to do more work unremoving stuff that automod took down than deleting content.
