Discussion Is it possible to get a Zorin OS-style boot animation on EndeavourOS KDE?

I’m getting a bit tired of seeing all the “OK” messages scrolling across the screen every time I boot EndeavourOS 😂

Is there a way to replace the boot messages with a clean, animated splash screen like Zorin OS has?

I’m using EndeavourOS with KDE Plasma. I’d love to make the boot process look more polished.

Any guides or recommendations would be appreciated!

How come your System Settings has a boot splash screen option? I only have the splash screen option.

Search the forums for endeavouros. I single boot endeavour only, so using uki and efistub my system boots right into the login screen. I have a a nice animated screen while it starts.

Yeah. IIRC, you need to install Plymouth (I don't remember off the top of my head, but I'm reasonably sure it is not part of the EOS base install), and then you can set it in KDE's system settings.

Are you referring to the "Splash Screen" option available in the KDE settings? You can install and select a ZorinOS-style (or similar) splash screen there.

Are you talking about the Welcome screen? You can stop it from appearing automatically but it will remain in your applications.
