Question Holy Wow: bill increase

I just got the notification from Apple that my price for DisneyPlus annual is moving from $79.99 to $189.99, a full $110 jump. That's crazy! Was I stuck in some time vortex and underpaying for a year or what in the heck happened?

When it first came out, we bought in for 3 years for a TOTAL of like $120. It was like a launch special to get people to sign up. Then we got a free year from Verizon. That all averaged out to $2.50/month. Times have certainly changed!

“Times have certainly changed” should NOT be a phrase uttered for something that has only existed for 7 years…

You are absolutely right! However I'm too much of a Star Wars fan that I want it. There will be a time when I say enough.
